I don't want to just plump for the cheapest biggest pack on amazon if it's not good....are there any tried and tested anyone would recommend?
Fingers crossed to everyone for everything they wish for!!!
Thanks in advance for your help
CBFM is supposed to be very good although as 2b said it's not cheap.
If you want to go for something cheaper to start with then internet OPKs are fine for most people (although if you have a condition like PCO or PCOS then you need different sensitivities). There's a link to some from Amazon on the first page.

No problem. There's also a link to BBT (basal body thermometer) for if you want to start recording your temperatures.
There is a great site a lot of us use to track our cycles (especially good if you are temping) called Fertility Friend http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ it's free to use.

I had my doctors appointment yesterday. We are being reffered to the feritility clinic at hospital. I can try something to make me ovulate but she said you are at risk of having multiple pregnancies so I would need monitoring! I can't remember the name but it's probably something like Clomid.
My OH has had to do a sperm sample as well which he wasn't pleased about, think he was a bit embarressed! He took it to the hospital today and when I got home he said he had heard from the doctor already and that there were no swimmers at all . I was like they haven't got back already and he was like they have and they couldn't find any....he was only blummin winding me up!! I thought he didn't seem very upset by it!
The doctor didn't actually say how long it would take, does anyone have any idea?
My OH said he's not worried..yeah yeah
Makes it seem so real being reffered to the fertility clinic but at least something can be done and everything is moving in the right direction!
Sorry at work and cant post properly but just to say to charlie
my OH had sample done 31st May and then picked his results up from Doctors 8/9th June if i remember rightly when he drops it off they actually say or if they dont just ask
ive just had my first appointment on Tuesday and they just asked questions took swabs  and then told me to ring a number on CD1 to take bloods and book in for hyto thingymajig that thing that inserts dye etc - my OH results werent brilliant but werent bad either (well i know that he has a child!!) anyways just to give you more of an insight
Will try and get on later as been working really hard

For anyone looking to loose or gain weight I can thoroughly recommend Food Focus. Just input your foods, and it tracks the calories, fat, carbs etc, and best of all its completely free.
So sorry to hear it wasn't better news Emsbet.
Think I'm going to chance an early test on Sunday, simply because i think it would be ridiculously cute if I was able to give DH a Fathers Day card from a sticky bean!0 -
Today is CD1 for me. Its bad timing as after yesterday I’m not really in the mood for it but at the same time it’s a good thing as I’ve been waiting to see if my body does anything resembling a normal cycle. I haven’t had to wait too long for this period (think I got to cycle 33) and I can now go and have the blood test to check my hormone levels following my PCOS diagnosis. QQ I think it was you that said it was ideal to do it on CD3 but I’m guessing its fine to do it tomorrow on CD2.
Even though I can’t TTC at the moment I hope you guys don’t mind me hanging around here. Now that I’ve started having periods I’m going to continue to track my cycle and I’m going to start temping to try and get an understanding of how my body operates which will help me once I can resume TTCing.
Oh and as if things haven’t been bad enough lately I’ve just noticed a split in my trousers. Thankfully it’s small and on the crotch and doesn’t notice (which is a good thing as my trousers are black and my underwear is white) as I’m at work and have no other clothes to change into.0
