Charlie - IF you wish to try and gain some weight, this guide advises you on the best way to do it healthily. http://nutrition.about.com/od/dietsformedicaldisorders/f/GainWeight.htm It will involve quite a bit of calorie counting I'm afraid, as you need to be sure that you're consuming more than you're burning. It's like dieting in reverse, I guess and you get used to how many calories are in each food, so it comes more from memory over time and gets easier.

This is, of course, only if you want to. A friend I used to work with was so, so slim. HUGE appetite, so she ate plenty, and high calorie meals too, but never gained a lb and she gave birth to a boy earlier this year, so I'm sure you will get there too :D Sorry to hear of your news ((HUGS)) but remember that plenty of women with PCO and PCOS get pregnant and have healthy babies, so you will too!

Thanks Euronorris, i'll def give it a try and see how I get on :). I've saved the link and i'll make a note of everything I eat . I did actaully do this before but never actually counted the calories in things :p. I'll let you know how I get on!

Ah you see ... the trick is to make them in strips! Do your square then instead of casting off - add in the next colour do the next square - then instead of casting off addin the next colour do the square - then instead of casting off ... You get the idea :p Til you have the required length *snigger* then cast off.

Ahhh...clever! I started making it before my neice was born. It was never made for her birth and as she was born in March I thought she wouldn't need a thick blanket anyway so the next plan is to make if for Christmas. Basically, she will probably never get it :p

Have a lovely holiday, i'm not at all jealous!

I'm here QQ, appreciate the shout out though, and those who posted understanding I didn't mean offence. Felt a bit embarrassed to come back tbh, as I felt I'd let people down in a place of support. I'm not very good at the softly softly approach I'm afraid, don't like to try to make excuses but I'm on the autistic spectrum which for me only comes out in social situations and a touch of OCD for good measure, my two worst offending times being trying to make small talk and finding the balance between information and tact. I'm sorry about Sunday, especially to how I hurt you Charlie, reading back when I'm not so tired I see I could have phrased things better, but I hope you see I posted with good intentions not to cause hurt.

I'd happily send you some biccies in an apology, but last time I send them in the post I send gingerbread men who arrived a little bruised, limbless and decapitated - if I'd included a note it might not have been quite so surreal and vaugely threatening for the recipient!

    Glad your back Kaemi :)

I apologised on an early post as I probably over reacted as well :o

I'll take you up on the crushed gingerbread man! hehe

Emsbet- I really hope tomorrow goes well x

Mishka-Hugs x I love the "step away from the google!"

I had my doctors appointment yesterday. We are being reffered to the feritility clinic at hospital. I can try something to make me ovulate but she said you are at risk of having multiple pregnancies so I would need monitoring! I can't remember the name but it's probably something like Clomid.

My OH has had to do a sperm sample as well which he wasn't pleased about, think he was a bit embarressed! He took it to the hospital today and when I got home he said he had heard from the doctor already and that there were no swimmers at all . I was like they haven't got back already and he was like they have and they couldn't find any....he was only blummin winding me up!! I thought he didn't seem very upset by it!

The doctor didn't actually say how long it would take, does anyone have any idea?

My OH said he's not worried..yeah yeah :p

Makes it seem so real being reffered to the fertility clinic but at least something can be done and everything is moving in the right direction!

Massive hugs to mishka - so sorry to hear about your BFN. Sending hugs and chocolate your way. hgcd.jpgchocolate.jpg

Love this - it's brilliant :rotfl:
    sexymouse wrote: »
Have you sat down and gone through the leaflets etc with him so he understands a bit more about the procedure too? Have you got any chocolate in the house to make you feel better?

Hope you feel better soon - try to have a nice soothing bath, paint your nails or do something to make the most of having the house to yourself.

Hubby's just come back home. I'm about to tell him bout stuff and ask if he'll come to the hospital with me - which I know he will as he's lovely :).

He came home just as I was bawling my eyes out and I had to reassure him that I hadn't spent the past 3 hours on my own crying haha. I'd just got on the phone from my Mum and had told her and that had made me cry. I actually feel so much better for having a good old sob and now I feel quite positive (which is very bizarre for me).

Anyway I'm not gonna keep rambling on about my fanny (:p) to you lovely ladies. I'm sure you've heard enough for one night lol.

Once again thank you to all of you for your general loveliness. Hugs to those that need them, fingers crossed for those that need some good luck and lots and lots of baby dust to the rest of you x x x

hey guys, hope you're all ok. I have been skim-reading the past couple of days but haven't had a chance/lot to post.

Sorry mishka about your BFN, rubbish :(
((Hugs)) fannyanna. It will all work out fine. Try not to get worked up about things (but I do understand why you're upset!) My friend had pre-cancerous cells and a colo-whatsit and like others have said, it was nowhere near as bad as she thought. It will all be ok :)

aargh bigzippy you said something that I meant to comment on but now I can't remember what it was!

    Welcome northerngirl!

Thank you SO much everyone who asked after my FIL :) You are all very sweet. He is still very poorly but as good as can be expected, given the circumstances. He's eaten some jelly today!

Can't remember who asked about agnus castus but it's meant to regulate your ov-ing, and you're not supposed to take it after ov because there's thought to be a link to a slightly increased risk of miscarriage. I started taking it on CD1 and for the first time ever, ov'd on CD13 instead of CD6 or CD21 etc! (maybe a coincidence of course!)

Don't really have much else to add...9DPO but no BD-ing so I know there's no chance this month. Quite liberating in a way - not SSing! :D Looking forward to giving it a really good go next month though :j

Just been having a bit of a panic about it all and got a bit upset. I've really been trying to prepare myself for the worst but there been a small part of me hoping it will be good news and now I've gone back to thinking it will be bad it's upset me. :(

Meh! Oh well there's not a lot I can do now I guess....

I discussed this with DH (just in case) I think multiples would be lovely...but the bigger the number, the more scary the idea becomes :p When will you start that?

    :eek:That's not funny!!!

I think one lady on here said she was supposed to wait a week and it ended up taking more like 3 (some glitch or other) - so maybe work on a week or so??
