    Hello All,

I'm not even going to attempt to catch up on yesterday's posts - I'm sure there'll be 20 pages or something :D

Did I miss anything exciting though? Hugs if anyone needs them and hopefully I've not missed a BFP.

For me nothing exciting going on. I'm CD29 so should be due a period any day now - although having just had my first period in such a long time I'm not holding my breath (would be nice though) :)

Well, AF hasn't arrived as yet so I'm either a day late or it's due today, my cycle has a mind of it's own!

The last two months have been 25 days and the three before that were 26 so take your pick! I'm getting on and off very mild cramps, these have been going on for about 3 days and feel quite bloated still. So, nothing really to report ..........

Emsbet- I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that you get a lovely surprise at your scan x

I had a call from the doctors today and I do have polycystic ovaries. They have conveniently found an app with my doctor Tuesday morning so will have to wait and see what she says. Feeling a bit sorry for myself now :(

Thanks although I don't hold out much hope. I don't feel like there is a beanie in there ....
((hugs)) Like Zippy says don't give up hope there's lots that can be done.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I've been out for lunch with DH and some of his friends which was nice and took my mind off things for a while.
Just at home now listening to Mr Emsbet play piano while I decide what to do for tea :)

Ahhh screw it. Someone's gotta ask, and it might as well be me as I'm an old hand at embarassing myself!
    Thanks:D I was curious too:cool:
Warn of warning ladies: Trying to take your clothes off seductively, whilst drunk, will not work. You will end up saying 'just you wait right there' with a devilish look in your eyes, before falling @ss over t1t cos you couldn't keep your balance, whilst trying to take your pants off.

Or is it just me that's happened too?
    No, never:p

    He's continuing to get better:)
The progress seems to be on the slow side, so we decided to send for his sister. Hopefully she should be able to motivate him:cool:

the children said to me "You've done a really good job" - which was nice (they are only 6/7).
    Lovely:happyhear
Still got sore boobs - I feel like I need to hold on to them as I walk, so I think that they may be growing a bit too (I've only got bee stings, so the fact they are moving a lot more, makes me think they are). Fingers crossed it's not my imagination - I could do with an extra cup size. ;)
    Fingers crossed:)

I went for a smear today as we are going to start ttc in a few weeks and I have read that you should have one prior to ttc. But the nurse told me she could not do a smear as it is not due until November and even though I wanted to check everything was ok before trying for a baby (as I had an abnormal smear when younger) she refused saying that early smears are now against policy. But if we get lucky and are pregnant by November I will miss my smear as you can't have one when pregnant. This seems crazy to me as I just wanted to check I have no abnormal cells before ttc. She said that me deciding to try for a baby at this time was "unlucky" in terms of potentially missing my smear and that the only solution if I am worried was to wait to ttc until after November.
Perhaps you could explain your situation to another doctor?
I also asked if I could have a blood test to check if I am still immune (Rubella) or if I need a Rubella jab. I read that the latest research is that immunity does not last as long as first thought. But she advised that this was not required because the midwife would check this if I get pregnant and if I needed a Rubella jab they could do it if I get pregnant. I said that my understanding is that this would potentially be harmful to a baby. The nurse seemed not to know and just said it was best to discuss it with a midwife. But I'm not pregnant so don't have a midwife! I have however read that the jab is harmful to unborns and am really concerned that she gave such wrong advice.
Perhaps you could ask about that as well. Sorry I haven't a clue:o

So, my knickers were quite wet today, is this usual post ovulation. Is this cervical mucus? TBH, I know nothing about cervical mucas, what should it be like post ovulation? :-/

I dont know much, if anything about cervical mucas
One can get an estrogen surge during 2ww especially around 7DPO and near AF. It could be a pg symptom too:)
I had a call from the doctors today and I do have polycystic ovaries. They have conveniently found an app with my doctor Tuesday morning so will have to wait and see what she says. Feeling a bit sorry for myself now :(
People with PCOS get pg all the time. Your mum probably had it too, and she has you:p Don't worry. PCOS is just ov problem. Once you ov, you have the same chances as everybody else. Hopefully your doctor will prescribe something like metformin to get you oving:)

Hey all, hope everyone is good. Looks like the vibe has picked up a treat over the last few days:j:j:j:j:j:j

Just had a read through but can't remember much so apologies if I've forgotten you

Emsbet - Hugs, hope all is OK and things get sorted positively

Praline- I too am rubbish at the TTC stuff, although I am taking folic acid (the only thing I'm doing:o), with no temping, SSing or anything, simply instructed DH that at least every other day we must BD, Although by the end of my last super ling cycle we hadn't for 3 weeks, :o.

I don't want to think too hard about the TTC stuff cos I get a bit OCD on things when I start and know that I will just upset myself more than I need to. Especially after the last week or two being a bit of a roller coaster emotionally without TTCing stuff making me a bit mentalist.

I am hopefully being pretty chilled overall about TTCing, but I have issues with BDing sue to previous 'incidents' that mean I only really enjoy stuff if a bit squiffy or have been reading my self help books and psyched up for it, which takes up rather a lot of time and i dont want DH to feel like its just for a bubba either.

Sorry for TMI, DH cooked (2nd time for 2011 [ insert fireworks here] and I've had a glass of wine so now need to talk. DH off doing the washing up too:beer: so chillaxing.

Happy BDing everyone and SBDTA :p:p

That sounds just like me. If things don't go well next week I have made a promise to myself to try to be more relaxed about the process because I will end up making myself ill :o
