Morning all! It's Bank Holiday weekend!

Hope you all have lots of nice plans! I'e just checked the weather and it's forcast to rain everyday this weekend where I am which is highly unusual for the sunny North West!:rotfl:

I woke up this morning with what felt like mild AF pains - hope that witch stays away! :undecided

Same here with the weather! I know the North West is quite large but I have to check....you're not lucky enough to be in or near the lake district are you? I'm very jelous of everyone who is lucky enough to live there!!

And......no I haven't tested. DH's family dog died yesterday morning and he's very upset. He knows I was planning to test today so I asked him if I should but he said to leave it for a few days. It might do him good to have some good news though if was positive! I have to say, I feel a bit down about it all, I just want to know now!! We're meant to be going to a BBQ later but it depends how he feels when he gets up (he's working night shifts this weekend) but if we do go I won't be able to drink as I don't know one way or the other.

ALso feeling a bit sorry for myself as I'm sick of being stuck in the house on my own! I've been at work for a couple of hours but didn't really see anyone, now home but DH in bed until 3 or 4pm then he'll beggar off to work again at about 8 I don't really know anyone here as I moved away from my friends and family to live with DH. It's only about 40 miles away but with fuel prices being so high I can't just pop over when I feel like it. ANd I can't really do anything until DH gets up as I don't want to wake him up!

Anyway, enough of my whinging, I always feel fed up and miserable when I have to work the weekend! Only 6 more days to go till I get a day off!!

We lost a family dog recently and it does hit you harder than you think. Hope your hubby feels better soon.

I'm afraid we aren't in the lakes. We love just north of Bolton which isn't as pretty but it's ok.

I too moved to a new town to be with DH. We knowing 80 miles from hometown. I've got some friends but they are DH's friends. And although I get on really well with them it's not the same as having my own friends.
