I'm just waiting for those temps to drop because my on off cramping turned pretty much constant yesterday. It's still there now. It alternates between mild cramps and a horizontal stabbing pain. I feel like AF is on her way I'm also having some backache which is making me feel nauseous. I'm not taking any of this as a good sign as I could potentially be 10DPO rather than 13. My own fault for getting my hopes up.

Hi! I wonder if i can join you on this thread? I've been lurking for a while but never posted before.
A little about me then- I'm 29 and DH is 32 and we got married last July. I decided to come off the pill straight after coming back from our honeymoon in August as we knew we would want to start TTC soon and had heard it could take a while for the pill to come out of your system.

After 3 months of coming off the pill and no sign of AF I started to get worried. Went to see my GP in December and she took some blood samples and suspected that I had PCOS as the LH hormone was quite high and she referred me to see a gyneo consultant in the hospital. Waited a couple of months for the appointment and in the meantime AF made an appearance! That cycle was 140 days!!

I saw the consultant in April 2011 and his first reaction was that I didn’t have PCOS as I didn't have any of the associated symptoms- I'm quite thin, no excess hair etc but he gave me an internal ultrasound anyway and indeed I did have PCO.

As me and DH had only started TTC properly since April 2011 consultant said he would see me again in 3 months time to see if we had any luck conceiving the natural way. Since seeing my GP in December I started taking Agnus Castus as I'd heard so many good things about it and since then I have had 2 more periods. My cycles were reduced from 140 days to 55 and the latest one I had was 47 days so it seems to be working!

For this cycle I have started charting to try and pinpoint when I Ov as I have no idea at the moment if I even do Ovulate at all!

My next appointment with consultant is in July and he suggested that he might prescribe Clomid to me then. I'm crossing my fingers that it won't be needed but am ready ti take it if needs be.
I'm now on CD23 and according to my temperature chart I haven't Ov'd yet!

Dad had his out long time ago. He recovered pretty quickly. They do key hole surgery nowadays, so it should be much easier than when he done it:) Just a tiny incision.

Bizarrely I've been kicking and resisting for yeeeears against having my tonsils out, but the idea of actually having this op (yes keyhole) doesn't scare me as much...it's more about being in hospital and DH not being with me that's upsetting me

It is still working as of now.

Maybe the FF offer has finished? It did say that once the budget for the offer had been used up that it would be closed. I'm only on my phone at the moment so can't have a proper look for you.

Thanks emsbet I read the same thing about it finishing soon, but managed to get in there before it did! Feel worse today than yesterday but wanted to come say good luck for testing in a few days...the chart does look good!
