So yesterday wasn't a very good day. I had a crappy day at work, got home, shouted at poor DH for virtually no reason and then even 4 hours later, was still in a rubbish mood, and ended up sobbing my heart out for about an hour before bed, for no real reason. Maybe I just needed hugs :o
The thing is, I don't even know if I've OV'd this month, so don't know if I'm even in with the teeniest bit of a chance. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I can't seem to stop myself......

    I'm slowly going mad :D

I'm in the same boat! I know and feel AF should be here, i've been wearing a pad all week, coz last month I had a 25day cycle, and now its looks like i'm going to have a perfect 28 day cycle (day 28 today), but in the back of my head, and my heart, i'm getting excited. But also in my heart, I really don't think it has happened for us. For 1 thing, i'm sure it would've been picked up on my blood tests?
Oh well, now that i've actually wrote about it, i'm sure AF will hit me with all her force and fury any time now!! :o

mozzyc - I sure hope she doesn't catch up wth you :)

Is anyone here taking agnus castus or soy? Reading about it another forum, so I wondered if anyone here is taking them? Agnus castus is supposed to be the nature'a answer to clomid. I think soy is supposed to help produce nice big juicy eggs :)

H twigpig, I am taking agnus castus as recommended by a lovely lady on here! I take 2 each night with a view to it producing AF for me.....I am waiting for my first cycle to end since I stopped taking the pill 8 weeks ago! xx

I am taking Agnus Castus too! :)
I don't know for certain because I only started charting this month but I think I didn't ov last month where as I'm pretty certain I did this month (although can't decide which day! :rotfl:) so I think it is working for me.
I know Kira took it before her BFP to help lengthen her LP.
I believe that you should only take it before ov and not after (although I have been told that people have conceived ok taking it after ov) so I'm giving that ago.

    Congratulations Kim! Fab news

Thanks for all the kind messages ladies. Seems like I have a 27 day cycle. I'm going to call today as CD1, yesterday was just spotting really.

I'm not too upset, its very early days and if I'd fallen last month baby would be due on my birthday, and I've had snow on my birthday every year for 11 years now, so I'd rather my child could have a birthday party their friends could come to. Weak reasoning, but I'm sticking to the positives!

Hubby was also contacted yesterday by another company who he'd speculatively put his CV into a few months ago, they now have an opening and are interested to meet him. It's a longer commute but about a £4-£9k pay increase, plus lots of perks, so it would be great news for growing our family.

Can anyone tell me where to get a temperature monitor? Or if it's as simple as a thermometer? I was going to wait a few months ands ee if things happened on their own but DH thinks it makes sense to start charting now so I need to lay my hands on one.

Nature's answer to clomid is Soy. Same with nice juicy eggs.
Agnus Castus regulates your hormones (longer LP, prompt ov etc).

Going in labour when it's snowing can be dangerous:cool:

It's a BBT thermometer with 2 decimal points (like 36.52c).
    Here's one someone bought:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001M51E0C/ref=oss_product
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Centigrade-Thermometer-Ovulation-Pregnancy-fertility/dp/B002VF8EXC/ref=pd_cp_d_2

You can also get them at Boots etc.
