Hello ladies...I just thought I'd tell you I've not forgotten you all! I'm just don't have much to tell!

CD24 and 12 or 13 DPO but only BD once last month so quite chilled about it. I think the vitamin B is helping my lutial phase-yay.

So, although I may not post often, I'm still keeping an eye in you all (not in a stalkerish way!)and sending lots of quiet PMA!

I know what you mean, but it's only a physical check up isn't it?
Not smear? Are you getting an internal scan?

It's smear, scan and general prodding.

I am taking Agnus Castus too! :)
I don't know for certain because I only started charting this month but I think I didn't ov last month where as I'm pretty certain I did this month (although can't decide which day! :rotfl:) so I think it is working for me.
I know Kira took it before her BFP to help lengthen her LP.
I believe that you should only take it before ov and not after (although I have been told that people have conceived ok taking it after ov) so I'm giving that ago.

    xx

Hello, its me, *just sticking my head around the door to say hello!* Glad to see so many BFP's this month! :j

I took Agnus Castus all through the month, as that was was what my instructions had said. Generally trying to regulate and improve my cycle, which for me was, as Emsbet says, was lengthening my LP. Does the same thing for shortening, etc, it just helps regulate hormones to get a more consistent cycle.

    Keep the PMA ladies! :D

Congratulations Kim on your BFP! I knew it would be! Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

fannyanna I had my first smear test in December last year (23rd to be exact), as like you, I'd put it off as I was scared. But my sister (2 years younger) sent me a text to say that she'd had abnormal results and had had to have an operation to remove the cells, and it was her first smear. I was scared into having it done then! It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be, although it wasn't very comfortable. I tried to mentally detach myself from what was going on, and the paper they make you put over yourself helps with that. I'm sure you'll be fine! As other people have said, try to relax - I also read a tip online to try and keep your tongue in the middle of your mouth as this helps, but I'm not sure if it's more to do with the concentration required to do this, rather than some biological link. lol

Had my second day at my new job, and tbh, I don't feel much more relaxed about it at all. I really hope I've not made the wrong decision about going back to teaching full time. I've got a mega headache now from the amount of information I've had to take in, and I've got lots of lesson planning to do. I'm determined to get at least one of the subjects planned this weekend so that I can enjoy half term.

    Hugs to all on CD1.

QQ- me too, c. 3 months has been bad enough, let alone another 4!

Although jsut had a massive row with OH, he feels very tired and poorly so I've done most of his jobs tonight, but after what doc said today (and telling him word for word) not v. impressed. I know he is poorly (apparently) but I am knackered, I would like to sit down if I feel poo, but with a toddler or tea to cook, or washing to do or any of the other milliion and one jobs there is to do everyday, whether I go to work for 8 hours or not I jsut can't and his stock answer is 'you went to my sisters this morning, that was your choice' and I;m being unfair. And when its put like that what do you say? Do I not leave the house when he is at work or cook tea at 9 in the morning and keep it in the oven all day to dry out?

Grrr, bloomin men! I;m sure we'll be fine later, but if he had come in tonight and just given me a hug or said 'how're u feelin' that would have meant the world.

I think I just need to rewind today and start over again.

    hello

Just got home from a nice meal out with my mum - she was treating me for having passed my exams :D Seeing as AF arrived I stuck my fingers up at my stupid ovaries and had a couple of glasses of wine...and am currently having my favourite - Disaronno :D

fannyanna - don't worry about your smear, seriously it's nowhere near as bad as you think. I've had 2 plus an internal exam and they were all fine. Not the most fun ever, and I didn't look forward to them, but they weren't bad at all. If I can do it - anyone can! I am such a prude about that sort of thing - I'm the kind of person that goes bright red and embarrassed just asking for a repeat prescription for my pill...! Personally I don't find them at all painful - the speculum as it goes in is quite cold, and then the smear itself feels a bit weird, but it doesn't hurt. It's all done in a very "medical", matter-of-fact way, so it's not as embarrassing as you might think.

((hugs)) gemma, sounds like you need a holiday! men sometimes aren't good at the "there, there" thing - that's what female friends are for! Feel free to rant as much as you like to us! :p

twigpig - I've just started taking agnus castus, can't tell you if it's effective or not, yet! it's half price in holland & barrett at the moment though, if you want some :)

Nothing exciting to report from me, I think AF might be on it's way out though, yay. I'm going to keep a close eye on my CM and temps early this cycle, just in case I ov very early again - which is what happened the cycle after the last cycle I had that I didn't ov. I think I ov'd on about CD6 then!! Will try to BD regularly throughout the month to cover all bases!

Went to the gym tonight, before going out for dinner. High intensity aerobics, killer. Made up for about a quarter of the chocolate brownie and icecream I had for pudding...! :p

    BB x

    I see, the whole thing:o
Good luck. For me the smear was nothing, but for my sister it was traumatic. I think it is important to relax. Good luck:o
