Oh my years of knowledge is telling me that:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hope she hasn't forgotten about your kidney xray though:oI'll ask (1st choice & usual) GP tomorrow about when he expects them to come through and whether I'll get the letters directly
Low doesn't sound bad, so long as it's not zero:cool:

Sounds like you've got yourself a good doctor! Whenever I go see mine (for anything) after I have descirbed my symptoms she always asks me "so what do you think it is?" - well duh! If I knew that I wouldn't be here! :rotfl:Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Congratulations colli!
Afternoon all,
Well I think I may be ovulating today (just going by discharge and crampy feeling, and not an OPK or temperature charting), which is day 17 in my cycle. This is the first month I've actually tracked which day it's on (am writing things in my diary), which means I ovulate later than the calendar charts predicted as there is only 9 days until CD1. Moon and I are going out to dinner and pub skittles tonight, so hope he has the energy to BD tonight, as he was too tired yesterday. It's crazy - for ages, I've not wanted sex, and he's been wanting it all the time, and now he has the chance to do it all the time, he's too tired! lol
Well I'd better go and have my shower and change into something more casual, as I'm still sat in my work clothes.
Glad to hear that your Dad is moving in the right direction recovery-wise QQ. If he does have to have an operation, fingers crossed this sorts everything out for him.
I probably won't get back on here again this evening, so, night all,

Me! Found out in the last few months. On metformin too. If the doc didn't tell you, it can cause diawoo as a side effect (in roughly 50% of patients according to the stats) and I gradually introduced it to my body to stop it going crazy with it straight away...maybe ask your doc about doing the same?
Are they doing a scan?
GG has PCOS too, and a few others too but I can't remember who else
Anyway, feel free to PM me if you like
And what QQ said - don't quite get how you multi-quote.
I haven't actually had any tests yet (will be having blood tests and scan at next appointment) but I guess the Doctor is pretty confident based on the lack of periods and other symptoms that I do have PCOS to have prescribed me Metformin. Doc did say not to worry if I don't get on with it but didn't actually give details on the side effects. I've now read up on them and they sound fun
I told my sister that the Doc thought I had PCOS (as she has it too) and she was very sympathetic to me which I found quite funny. I'm not dying. Was nice of her though.
Anyway, I'm waffling.
I guess I was just wondering if anyone else was TTC and whether they'd found the PCOS an issue and if so, what had been done about it. From what I gather my main issue is obviously the lack of periods (my Doc has suggested I'm probably not ovulating at all which isn't helpful) which hopefully the Metformin will resolve. I guess if that works I stand as good a chance as anyone else at conceiving.0 -
Oooh one more thing - can I blame mood swings on PCOS?
Hubby actually asked me the other day what was up as I keep having mood swings. I just glared at him0 -
I almost always know what I've got when I see the doctor - I always assumed most people did?
I guess it depends what you go for.
I don't go that often as I feel like I'm wasting their time and try not to second guess what it might be as i tend to get worked up about it.
One time I went thinking I had flu and only went because my eyes were bright red. The doctor I saw sent me straight to hospital thinking I had bleeding on my brain. Turned out we were both wrong and I had a nasty case of glandular fever.

Hi Everyone,
Can i join? Hubby and i have been trying to conceive since Feb this - found out i am being made redundant in March and we did discuss putting it off until i get another job - but i am getting a good pay out that would last us a year (same salary as i am on now) so we have decided to just go for it.
I think my period is due a week today, i have been keeping an eye on my cycle and it appears i have an average 28 day cycle, we done the deed last Mon, Wed and Sat so fingers crossed.
(sorry i don't know all the short version of things)0 -
