Warning - mammoth post coming up!!

    Hi all,
Not been posting much, as try not to let ttc run my life but have been lurking & reading back though & couldn’t believe some of the upset that was going on last week.

Firstly congrats to all the BFPs :j & hi to all newbies :hello:

Secondly here is my tuppence worth on the recent comments:
You can’t stop hearing about people getting bfps who’ve only just started TTC both in real life or on here & I’ll admit I do get a pang of jealousy everytime, be it a friend or a stranger, but it also makes me happy to see ttc’ers getting bfps as it gives me hope it’ll be me soon.
We are all here because we have a longing for a baby & the realisation of just how difficult our ttc jounrey could be is as heartbreaking/frustrating for all of us no matter how long we’ve been trying. Heres hoping we all get a BFP soon, both newbies and oldies alike!

Thirdly heres my not very exciting update:
I’ve been plodding along this month. Was excited to use my new CBFM and it asked for a couple of sticks around CD6 but then it didn’t ask for another one. OH randomly turned it on around 6.30pm last night and it was asking for a stick so I think at some point it must have reset to the evening….we did take it away a couple of times and it was just loose in the bag so I guess buttons could have been pressed without us knowing.

So I’ve been using my digital opk’s instead and got my smiley face today (CD17 – same as last month) so I’m feeling fairly positive at the mo. :)
We BD’d CD 13,14 and 16 so far and will also bd CD17 and 18. Hopefully one of those is the good one! ;)

I’m still suffering from my recurrent thrush & it does cause a lot of problems. :wall:

Think I will go to docs about that and mention TTC to them to see how long we have to have been trying for before we can get basic tests done. This is cycle 9 but have been off the pill for a year now.

Phew didn’t mean that to be so long, sorry if I’ve bored you or clogged up the board!!

I've had 10 cycles since Jan 2010, so my odds are already crappy, and the reality of not once seeing a peak reading on my cbfm over the last 5/6 months can't be ignored any more. I'm not even sure I'm ovulating, so I need to get some help.
Good luck:) It'll be a huge weight off your shoulders, now it's in their hands:cool:
I've lost 1.5 stone, so I know that the doc can see that I've been trying.
    Congratulations!:j
I've ordered a BBT thermometer this morning too and started a FF chart, although I get up at different times every day, so I'm not sure how this will work out, but may as well give it a try.
Could we have a linky to your chart please:)

You could've POAS in the morning, and stuck the stick in in the evening:o

    Hey folks :)

CD25 now and still got v v light AF (started on Sunday so four days now). It went a bit red the other day but has now gone browner again (TMI, sorry!) but this is what happened last month so am fully expecting AF to arrive soon.

Welcome to the newbies and hugs and SBD all round.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow for QQ :D (Ooh, cross posted with you - have ((((hugs)))) if you prefer :) Onwards and upwards indeed :D)

I don't want to say too much though, in case you're trying not to get your hopes up. ((HUGS))
