It is possible OH has it and keeps passing it back.. treat him too!

I know we've treated oh a few times in the past but I obv keep getting it and then passing it back. Its just such a frustration & it really interferes with baby making!

You could've POAS in the morning, and stuck the stick in in the evening:o
I know but coz we'd originally set it at 6.30am I initially assumed it would start asking for sticks again closer to ov time so didn't think to check the monitor at any other times of day. Never mind, just glad I had enough digis left so still saw my surge today.

How do you know if you don't mind me asking?
I don't want to bore you to death, so I'll make it quick. I had what is called OHSS, a side effect from IVF. If it becomes worse you are pg, if you recover you are not. And I've recovered:o

I may not get AF anyway since IVF messes up everything. I have a blood pg test on Saturday. I wonder if I could cancel it if I get BFN? Not that I have an appointment or anything.
    And it's not free.
I could have a nice lunch out with that money (and I deserve it):money:

Just looked up OHSS. It doesn't sound pleasant. On the one hand, I'm glad you're feeling better. On the other, I'm holding out hope for a positive for you still.

    Either way, big ((HUGS)) xx

Better get dieting then :). I've got quite a high BMI so all jokes aside I do need to get that sorted.
I have the same problem. Only I think mines just high, rather than "quite high".:o I'm getting there though. Seeing 20lbs loss in 2months is very encouraging! :j

No, my appointment in 3 weeks is with the same doctor although when she made notes they were all gynae related and she mentioned scans and blood tests. So I guess she's going to do all that herself. Although I do keep wondering if they have the facilities at the surgery - like the scan or whether she is going to do some basic checks (physicals) and then refer me. I'm very confused :)
It can be handled by gynae or GP alike, so don't let it concern you too much. Even if you saw a gynae they'd likely send you to a diff department/hospital/whatever for the tests :) I suspect that she'll treat you for a while herself and if successful, great, and if you don't respond how she thinks you will/should then she'll refer you on at that point. Maybe when you see her next you can ask to check? :)

    Thanks bigzippy x
You're most welcome :) Glad I could help :) I found it very scary and depressing at first, but I've come to accept it as another part of the journey now - which is not the same as saying I'm happy about it!! :p It did make me feel better to know I was doing everything I could though (getting tests sorted, diet, metformin etc).

So, here I am 2 days in a row - sheesh :rotfl:

I decided after posting yesterday to just book the gp appointment instead of waiting for AF to show up in about 2-5 weeks, lol. As long as hubby can finish early tomorrow, we'll be going tomorrow, or I'll move it to next week if he can't get away.
    Good luck!
My weight doesn't even bother me, although I did join slimming world in Jan knowing this would help us. I've lost 1.5 stone, so I know that the doc can see that I've been trying.
    Well done! :T

So I’ve been using my digital opk’s instead and got my smiley face today (CD17 – same as last month) so I’m feeling fairly positive at the mo. :)
We BD’d CD 13,14 and 16 so far and will also bd CD17 and 18. Hopefully one of those is the good one! ;)
I'm glad you've popped back, I wondered where you'd been :) Yay for positivity and fingers crossed it's "the good one"! :D

I’m still suffering from my recurrent thrush & it does cause a lot of problems. :wall:
I can get those issues with all the antibiotics I'm on  Rubbish innit

Have you tried taking acidophilous supplements?
Think I will go to docs about that and mention TTC to them to see how long we have to have been trying for before we can get basic tests done. This is cycle 9 but have been off the pill for a year now.
Good luck with the docs! Hope they'll give you some help and hope :)
Phew didn’t mean that to be so long, sorry if I’ve bored you or clogged up the board!!
Oh hush, that's what we're/the thread is here for! :rotfl:

    You certainly do! :)

I hope you're wrong but if not, what's the plan from here? You're waiting a couple of months before IVFing again, right?

Hi from me on my hols... I am due to test next weds so I managed to sneak a little test in my packing !!
    Have a lovely time! :)
Good luck with the test ;)

Been back to GP and for my xray. Predictably xray came back clear, no fractures. GP has represcribed the Metformin, and authorised it on the file for repeat management without review, and said there was zero point testing DH's pee (I took a sample with me ;)). It's all in my body's flora/fauna/whatever and I just need to see what the tests say... On the one hand I'm glad that he thinks DH/BDing has nothing to do with it (we even had an awful conversation about honeymoon cystitis and @nal sex!!!:rotfl:) but on the other it's frustrating that there's nothing preventative that I seem to be able to do :(

On the other hand, I feel like I've done my bit for medical science, cos he had a trainee with him...and I'm nothing but a medical challenge! :rotfl: People are always telling me, that when I die I should donate my body to medical science, when they hear what I've got! rotfl:

Annoyingly, he wouldn't represcribe the (right) clinistix to show infection as he doens't like it and reckons people get obsessed with doing it. I just really want to know whether I'm right before I end up calling the OOH docs all the time tbh... Ah well...

(and :shhh: but MIL has some that she doesn't use cos she's nearly blind and can't read them so I might nab them to use while I'm continually contracting these infections:silenced: )
