Oh dear, getting sloppy here, let me know if anyone find their details are wrong/missing:o
I wasn't trying to be picky :o I only noticed that Charlie's link wasn't on there cos I was looking for a nosey, but it is on the first page :)

Btw, can we change for ourselves how FF friends name appears - like swap out the username for the name on here, sort of thing?
He is getting better, all his tubes are gone, he can breathe on his own, talk fine, can cough a bit, his legs came back. His hands doesn't work though, he can only move his arms...

He's probably having an op soon to see if they can fix some nerves.
Yay for regaining more and more.

My best friend lost a baby at 5 months too, it's so awful. In my close circle of girlfriends everyone's been very cautious in the early days, though she now has two georgeous girls now after 2 very normal and healthy babies (the NHS support she had through both of these was fab).

There does seem to have been a lot of this in the media recently, makes you realise you can't take anything for granted.
Haven't seen the news about Kelly Brook, but MIL lost twins at 5months (before DH was conceived, and he was a premi) and I just can't imagine it. It's hideous for anyone, but having it splashed around the media too, with archived preg-bump pictures in magazines etc? That's got to be just terrible :(

I've just come back from the doctors, after not sleeping all night (IBS+7courses of antibiotics in a month=pain! :o), and I've got ANOTHER BLEEPING water infection!! This is now 6 infections in 6 weeks. :( I feel like sh*te

PMA....um....c'mon....PMA....um....nope. I'll have to come back to that one! :o

Zippy.. sorry to gatecrash.. but are they giving you the riht AB's? Ask to see the lab reports they put on there what AB's the infection is responsive too.. also.. DH might not have any symptoms but he could have the infection lingering which he is passing back during bd-ing.. I get awful infections which my kidneys can't cope with. I have to wash myself and OH has to wash before BD or I get incredibly sore.

I've found my PMA...I've now lost 20lbs overall! :D I've lost 8.5lbs in the last week!! (which means I've relost the couple of lbs I put on over my bday weekend and more besides :D)

Never apologise for gatecrashing pigpen! You're like a veteran on this board ;)
I've had a few different abx. The first UTIs they tried me on one abx and sent a sample, in the meantime I was in agony so OOH put me on a different one, then when the results came back in after the weekend they put me on the bug-specific one. I had two different infections. This last time was over bank holiday weekend so they couldn't send off to the lab to get the specific bug/abx. This time I'm insisting on getting it sent off (if only so the uro has more to go on) and I'm on the abx that was right for the first two again.

ETA: 2 of the 6 infections I've had have been tonsillitis btw

They think I have a bladder auto-immune disease, but I'm having tests to confirm/deny through a uro. I generally have a lot of conditions that affect my immune system though.

And I have told DH (recently, when I thought about it) that I'm going nowhere near him unless he's freshly washed too ;)

Thanks for your concern PP :)

    ((big hugs)) to you.

Like Pigpen said I would double check with the doctors re:ABs and also getting DH checked out just incase.

Just popping in again to say hi. Hopefully, all of the names I recognised from the last time I popped in have all moved on to the next board. I'm still ttc and going to pop along to gp next month for some help/advice.

    Hope everyone is well :)

QQ - I'm back to CD18. Cycles are still about 6 weeks although all my OV signs happen around CD14 ish. CBFM and I still aren't getting along.... lol

I had my Doctor’s appointment this morning. I booked this as I don’t have regular periods and haven’t had anything for 8 months. Thought perhaps I have PCOS or something (my sister does). The Doctor was really, really good. Straight off she said she thought I had PCOS. I’ve been prescribed Metformin for now and have another appointment in 3 weeks to do some physical checks – joy.

I told the Doctor that we were TTC and she suggested that I have some blood tests done and that Hubby has a sperm count done. I was very surprised that this was offered as I know you normally have to be TTC for 1 year (which she also confirmed). She said I’m probably not ovulating so I guess from her point of view there’s a strong indication that something is wrong and I guess she thought there was no point waiting. So I’m very lucky and to be honest very surprised.

Glad you're getting the help fannyanna :) Hope it doesn't turn up anything too serious or untreatable/easily treatable.

Sounds like you've got yourself a good doctor! Whenever I go see mine (for anything) after I have descirbed my symptoms she always asks me "so what do you think it is?" - well duh! If I knew that I wouldn't be here! :rotfl:

Glad you are getting some help and I have my fingers crossed for you that it's something easily treatable :)
