    Morning All,

I have to "ditto" Cleo, I think you said it all in your post. Our time will come, and also as you say, there are always people worse off. But, (stamps feet in childish manner) I want a baby too!! We will all get there I'm sure.

Biggest congrats to Mimi and CalamityClaire! happy and healthy 8 months for you both! x

the good old saying ‘there’s always someone worse off then you’ has helped me a lot over the years.
I agree with that saying. I still have some friends who haven't found a right partner yet. At the very least I have one:o
Right OPK number 86 this morning and I'm half contemplating giving up doing them but then after all this time surely it can't be much longer :(
    (((Hugs))).

*pops head around door* COO-EEE? Is it safe to come in? *slides through door and sits on stool just next to it*

Morning all, re last night’s discussion, as a newbie I had already decided last month (week? you know the 'will I have period' period) that I was going to disappear if I got a positive rather than announce it, as getting pregnant after a short period of time when I KNOW I'll be more scared than exited would not be fair to some of the ladies in here.

I do think some people can be insensitive (I am human so I know I can be to) and I know people are excited.... but please.... think. How would I feel if I was that person?

And this is coming from someone who can take it or leave it to a point (see I even considered keeping that bit in as I know some people would give a right arm and last rolo for a baby whereas at this point I am fairly neutral even though we are trying. I have left it in as I think it is a pertinent point).

Thanks for the drink opinions I haven’t the time to go back and thank, but I will at some point.

    Anyway ladies, make friends!

btw - love the bumping tummies phrase - or something like that. Need to go back and add it to my phrase dictionary.

Oh congratulations to those who have fallen! :j

My post above is not directed at anyone person or comment here so do not let my thoughts upset you in anyway as it isn't intentional and you have better emotions to be feeling anyway! (Just in case I get attacked. I know karate you know ;))

Oh Praline your posts did make me giggle :rotfl:

Clare - woop woop, you're pregnant. Very happy for you :j:j:j:j:j :j

To everyone else - those that have been TTC for a long time and those like me that haven't been TTC for that long........

I hope everyone continues to post and feels comfortable posting. I for sure find the support and knowledge on this forum outstanding. In addition I'd hope that anyone (whether they've been trying for a month or for a year) would feel comfortable posting the exciting news of getting a BFP. Please don't sneak off quietly because you're too scared to share your happy news with us.

Everyone have a hug and lots and lots and lots and lots of baby dust x x x

    Afternoon all,
Wow, seems Ive missed an eventful few posts!!
You guys that are struggling with your emotions (GG, Phunkles) we have pm'ed in the past and you know how I feel about it, so Im going to say no more. I dont wish to scare off any newbies as we've all been there...
I sometimes feel guilty because I already have my DS and I know I sometimes overlook that fact due to my desire to have another baby. But we all feel sad sometimes that we havent got what we want so much.
I remember being told at work about the daughter of a colleague who was pregnant an I had to leave the room to have a cry. It may be just me, but I have kind of gotten used to the disappointment now and that colleague now has a beautiful new granddaughter and Im STILL trying!!

I face each month with a "its not going to happen this month" as thats what I need to do to protect myself from the disappointment. I know that I will get there eventually, but I still have another 8 months before I can have any further help from the doctors. I do sometimes get frustrated with people that say they are going to see their doctor for help after a couple of months, but I know that its just bad luck that we live in an area that we have to be waiting for 2 years before they will do anything. PLUS, we wouldnt qualify for all that much help anyway, as we have DS....

    Ello Ladies,

I have been having a think of some postiives of not being pg and the witch arriving at my door yesterday. I feel I have to do this to make me feel better.....So,

    1. I am going out with old work friends tomorrow night and I can enjoy some bubbles, yum!
    2. I am getting my hair highlighted tomorrow for said night out, and not feel bad about the cost, or effect to babba
    3. I can carry on "trying" to get thin before I plan on getting huuuuge :)
    4. I can save more money (or spend it all on night outs and highlights)

Thats about it really, as I said, its just to make me feel better? Anyone got any more? x
