Hi everyone
It has been requested that we close this thread because of the large number of new members not reading the title and asking questions on it.
However, this thread is linked to from 2 main site articles, and any replacement thread would have a similar issue.
I will go through the most recent pages of this thread and split off some replies from newbies into their own threads. We realise it can be frustrating when new members don’t seem to be following the rules, but please help us by seeing it as an opportunity to welcome a new member and guiding them to the correct place to post.

Wouldn't it more helpful for newbies to simply be directed to the Consumer Rights sub-forum generally?0 -
It's because this thread is the comments thread for said article.0

I was merely addressing why MSE keep the thread open ... I was making no comment as to the usefulness.0

Yes close it. The original "article" is actually 2 articles that are up to date so perhaps start 2 new threads to discuss them:Part one: Give me my money backPart two: How to complain0

I don't so much get disgruntled at people not following rules it's more about people getting the advice they need. I bet most regulars to this board don't bother to read this thread as they "know" questions aren't asked in it.
How many of the errant posters have bothered coming back? Barely any it would seem. I don't think anyone would notice if it was locked.0 -
I did not receive my full order and emailed company who decide to investigate and requested some form from me. i returned as requested. despite having emailed for a response to this investigation on more than one occasion and thereafter followed by a recorded delivery letter to the CEO i still havent have a response. My question is which route I take to court as neither template letter fits with my situation. It's not faulty goods or service, it is non delivered goods which I have been charged for. any advice gratefully rec'd0
