For me its been that I once paid for a skip to come outside my house and in it I junked all the stuff I couldnt be bothered to freecycle/ebay/charity shop.
Im my defence, this was about 6 years ago, well before I began my dfw journey (which is going fine, will be debt free in less than 3 years)
This is the one thing that rankles. How could I have been so stupid?
What's yours?

Spent £40 on an online casino when I was absolutely desparate to meet all my CC payments thinking that I might be lucky. Lost it in about 10 minutes and felt bad for days afterwards that I had been so stupid:oDebt Free 1st March 2017

I once bought a painting in a gallery for £800...I wish I had that money today. It now hangs in my spare room as every time I look at it I feel stupid for getting carried away like that!"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." Mine was a car on finance/lease. Paid a £3k deposit, then leased it for 36 months at £466 per month then handed it back at the end as the balloon payment was identical to what the car was worth! So paid about £20k and had no car at the end. What a d!ck.
I will NEVER EVER make a mistake like that again and anyone on here considering such a thing should take this as a warning - you WILL regret taking out finance on a 'fancy' car.PMA - Positive Mental Attitude

Mine was a "rug" from Marrakech. Pure silk but got talked into buying it -so we decided it would be our anniversary present (now marriage is over) and rug is used as a throw on my sofa.... Pretty expensive throw! The worst cliques are those which consist of one man ~ George Bernard Shaw
