Thanks for dropping by Herewego. I'm excited for the order to come now - how sad! :D Good luck with your money saving.

I just searched for the code for AP on the net Michelle. I heard that there's always a code on FB but I don't know as I don't use it. **shuggy shoulder man**

Perhaps all us girlies can all shout out to each other when offers /codes come up like that ? Your diary would be a good place to do that Michelle , whadda you think ? :)

I wish I'd have got the scone and the naan mix now too but I suppose your a little cautious the first time you use the site aren't you?

Also I'd wish Id have got more Robinsons squash drink but I thought of the top of my head that it was the same price as the offer at Mr S that I have coming Tuesday night but it works out 2 x £1.60 at Mr S and 2 for £1.50 at AF - I'm annoyed at that. I like saving money.:)

Next time I will spend more time using the site properly and comparing.

P.S I've probably not used the site before as I hated it, not user friendly at all but it was better this time and easier to navigate.

  • I gave up on it for a while as i found it was mostly junk food that i was buying, and i wouldn't buy it normally so not a saving. I think it has got a better range now when i look, and if i saw the flour stuff again i would get it.

I guess for me, i know some of the products are ok as i have had them from the cheap shop up the road. If they have good stock in it is better for me to shop up there as i can also get frozen stuff at the same time and save the delivery costs. I'm sure this shop has access to the same suppliers as stuff like the bottles of mayo are always in up there.

Been out and about already today and got OH to stay in the car with the babies to save on hospital car park fees. Glad to be home now.

My TCB account just paid a few ££'s out so Op'd that for March already.

Just registered for 2 products on Toluna , a washing up sponge and a babies bottle so hopefully I'll get to review one of them.

OH is off for the week now which is lovely to spend time together, although he has a funeral to attend this afternoon. I'll just spend time watching the little ones and doing surveys amongst other mumsy things.

I can't wait to see the mortgage update tomorrow !

Well the mortgage has come out and doesn't tally with my spreadsheet. All I can think of is that some little payments I made on the 26th haven't got there in time.

The total op's were £141 due to paying £700ish to the cc which should be wiped out this month. Not bad to say I was also owed £300 for maintenance arrears which I didn't get.

Balance stands at £85983,67 I'm glad it's under 86k now. Interest this month is £8.25 per day better than the £8.63 it was in August when I started.

    Today ....

Busy day today we're going to the zoo , zoo , zoo. Little lady (19 months) should love that. Hopefully a cheapish day out as I booked online to save money, the little ones go free too. We're taking bits of food and drink and then going to P1za Expr3ss for lunch with my clubcard vouchers. Yum Yum.

I can't wait to spend some quality time with OH who has been working so much recently, he hates his job and is looking to transfer nearer to home. He's applied but still waiting to hear. Hopefully he'll get it which will make him happier and it will save fuel and ££'s as he does 60 miles a day round trip.

Have a good day all !
    :)

PS toluna updated Im on 88k . Yippee!!!

We had a brilliant day today at the zoo. Low spends too - had 2 lots of chips for £1.35 each there - not bad price really thought they would be dearer.

I went in the bat house ..me ..terrified of bats, I was fine until we had to go under a bridge and you could see them all flying about near our heads. I swear one of them was the size of batman himself!! It really was too much for me in there and I hit the pram into OH's legs several times in my haste to get out.

I wasn't impressed as when I eventually got out of there I noticed that I had bat poo on my £300 clutch bag ( yes why take a £300 bag to the zoo...well it was leopard skin so I just had too didn't I! :D) I was quite freaked out and made OH take it off ( the poo not the bag ) he told me to get a grip and then kindly pointed out it was a piece of pear...bl0ddy bats!

Also went out for something to eat and I had the new pizza at Pizza express which was gorgonzola, caramelised leek and pancetta - which was to die for! I think that's even the name for it...but in italian.

We ended up putting £11 extra to the meal but £41 for 2 x 3 courses plus a mini pizza and drinks its not bad especially when you have £30 in club card vouchers :D

So that's my day in a few paragraphs...hope you've had a good one too.

Sounds like a fun day. You're braver than me with the bats... You'd never get my anywhere near them!

I can't seem to see my points on toluna so can't see where I'm up to. There must be a problem with the site.

My AP order is coming tomorrow :j or as OH calls it ...out of date shopping. He said he's really looking forward to the bags of sensation crisps I've ordered even if they are out of date as I wont spend 1.75 a bag on them. I only buy them on offer. He's a love. I wouldn't mind but they don't even go out of date until mid march! Bags of time to eat them! :)
