sweetie,
From your posts on here, you are very eloquent and can certainly do Maths when it comes to budgetting. I have every confidence in you. I wouldn't be to worried if i were you. There used to be some free tests on the teacher training site for people having to do the tests before being able to teach. Dunno if they are still there but that might reassure you. They were computer based.
Well done on your win. I have a copy of economy gastronomy i want to relook through before the new kitchen is complete and i start project £10k in 2011. :rotfl:We'll have to share any tasty cheap recipes we come across.0 -
Good luck with your course, you'll be totally fine. Is there a childminders thread on here or an online forum where you can ask what it entails? Maybe a mock exam like Michelle saidMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
EMFD was Feb 32  NOW Dec 2013 its Dec 2016

Michelle your words brought tears to me eyes, you're so kind. I've looked at some online tests and they O.k. I'll check the teacher training ones out.
Good idea about the recipes. I've just started cooking again and last night I made Fay Ripleys Pork in a creamy mushroom sauce and roasts, so quick to do and it was gorgeous with roast potatoes and peas. Yum.
Good idea Pammy I'll look for that too
I think my worry is to do with the fact that I've lost my confidence recently probably due to lack of sleep and worry. So much as gone on recently. I didn't mention but a week after baby blue was born my 16 yo left home for the weekend. He's temperamental at the best of times, he's now said he's unhappy at college and wants to leave completely. This is the one who's just got the pt job. I'm worried about him. I never know where he is, but I guess this is normal for his age.
Also the car alloy has cracked and is causing punctures £180 for a new one and my dryer has packed up. All this combined with a a birth, an emergency hospital visit with the baby and broken leg in the family, its no wonder I'm stressed and feeling down!
I've bit the bullet and bought a A rated tumble dryer , http://www.365electrical.com/WTW84560GB.html expensive yes but worth it for my family of 8. Plus it comes with cashback!
With this new dryer being super duper energy effieicent Im hoping to "get my money back" quickly on it. I'm using about £10 worth of electricity pw just on drying clothes at the moment.
Right must dash my new J Lewis Christmas tree has arrived, I'll post a link to that next time - its stunning and I've been after it for weeks and weeks

Life sounds busy. Is your elder DS reacting a bit to the new baby? My sister used to act out terribly when i first went to Uni. Every time i came home for a weekend she would go off and disappear so my parents would have to look for her. It is a tough age for them. Some handle it much better than others.
I agree that you need a TD with 2 tiddlers and all the others in the house. I am trying not to use ours a lot, but i find it is necessary for bedding and towels and jeans. The rest i am running a dehumidifier next to them anyway so you can't win. Just make the best of what is there.
Mop any tears away, and make sure you get some rest this weekend. You sound shattered love.0 -
Iris - teenagers are tempremental, blokes are tempremental just let him do what he needs to and make sure he knows you and your OH are always there for him. It will work out really.
if you lot are sharing recipes I want to be included in the loop. My 2011 targets are harsh to say the least.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

I can't see it being the new baby Michelle. It could be more of a case of being a teen and not knowing which way your life is taking you. It's a horrible age where you're too young for this but too old for that. He's hardly here anyway and treats it more of a hotel. It could also be about him being jealous of me and my OH, I'm not sure. How old was your sister at the time?
That's what I'm hoping LP. I'll tell you the most difficult thing for me is being a having children by different men. As OH isn't his father ( my sons don't see their father, they have only ever had me) I feel as if I'm in the middle of it all sometimes. I want to be a good mum still and I want to be a lover. I feel so torn by different parties. I feel as if I'm losing my son and there is nothing I can do. I think it could probably be a jealously thing towards my OH.
Thanks Sml
Well I had my Xmas tree delivery and we have just put it up to test it, like you do..and put the decorations on ..just to test it ( like you do ! ) and its stunning.
http://www.johnlewis.com/230966519/Product.aspx I know it doesn't look much in the picture but it's gorgeous. It's going to be our 2nd tree and will be in the dining room, with a real tree being in the lounge.
Guess what I did..my mum will be proud..it has tiny lights on and 7 of them aren't working , you can't tell but all the same. I phoned them up and they have knocked £20 off. A bargain and one that I'm happy with as they have sold out and aren't getting anymore stock so an exchange is out of the question.
Now I'm just waiting for the alloy to come..I really hope its today as I had to do the school run in the 2nd car today , I've never drove it before and I hated every minute of it. It's a manual gearbox and so low on the floor I felt like a flintstone character! :rotfl: It's a fiesta but I'm use to being high up with the gods it felt so strange.
