Gorgeous shoes. It did make me feel old knowing i won't wear anything like that again. Probably safer for me though.
The karma thing - that is why i never claimed i hadn't received my parcel. I believe in it too.0 -
See Caroline , it goes to show you can fall in anything...may as well look glam falling if your're going to fall!
Pam trainers..no no no! I only own one pair and they are for running, not that Ive done that in a while!
Definitely Michelle What goes around...Although I do also believe that things are meant to be and everything happens for a reason.
Derby day in Manchester ..footie on and my OH, the little lady and baby blue are both dressed in Man U shirts. I feel left out! (although not left out enough to go and buy a shirt..they're not low cut enough for me at the front!)

People have always said to me" how do you walk in them?" It's when you get out of practice walking in them that you struggle.
You'll soon be an expect ! ( then you have to drink , get merry AND wear them..thats another task! )I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
Morning !
What a brill drying day - Made the most of it and I'm line drying. Only got 1 load to do though as I stay on top of my washing - I now have a empty basket :j
My wage slip has just arrived in the post and although I don't technically get paid until Monday I've made a OP. I received £86.38 more SMP :j so I'm overpaying with it.
I also received 3p more in CSA money . whoppee doo...I'm sure he's just done that to wind me up! ( it hasn't worked -I'm looking at it as a xmas present from him)
So OPing
£86.38
Total for month : £355.03 ( thanks to that 3p)
Baby has his hearing test today. I feel my life has so many appointments at the moment , its hard getting out and about with 2 of them especially as the lil lady can't walk outside so well. Its 2 journeys to the car to put them in and it takes me ages just to get out of the house ! Oh well when these appointments are all done with I intend to hibernate in my own home for the winter months. Bliss!
Have a good weekend all

Thanks for the Uggs tip LP, I don't own any <hangs head in shame> and would really like a pair! Can only afford the one so debating which style to go for? Am debating the knitted ones? Any tips?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
The challenges of having two littlies. Yes it is hard at the minute getting about with 2 of them, and probably worse as it is cold/wet/miserable, but they grow so soon.
I found the worst bit was all the nappy changing. They would both fill them at the same time at least, but i felt like it was all i did.
How funny are you with that 3p. I bet it equals quite a good overpayment over the years.0 -
It was bitterly cold today going for the hearing test. Baby past it ok so he doesn't need another until he's at school now.
I had to put the rain cover on to stop the wind blowing through the pram. I've come back home and ordered the cosy toes costing £98 for the 2 - yes expensive I know but a necessity and I needed ones that go with the pram so I can close it when they are still on it. I'm hoping kiddicare are going to price match on them as I've found them cheaper on the net. I've met the criteria for it so I cant see why not. Worth a try. If I get the difference plus the extra then I'll OP it.
I'm a bit bitter about the CSA money Michelle as you can probably tell. When someone owes you £7k and this debt is growing all the time , it sorts of eats at you a little. To go in a bank and physically pay 3p extra is an insult but seeing as I budget for every penny (strange i know!) its going towards OP's !
EDIt kiddicare being the fab company they are have refunded £10.01 so I'll OP that now next week! All from sending a email and a little effort!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
Sorry - hope i didn't come across as taking the mick too bad. I wasn't aware you were owed so much. 3p isn't even enough to buy the older ones a penny sweet each.
I hate it when i hear stories about blokes who owe loads through CSA. It isn't like the kids stop eating and growing when the parent leaves. Very least they should do is continue to contribute.
I was serious though about good choice in paying off the mortgage. 3p probably helps knock loads off the interest over the course of the years.
Glad to hear LO passed his hearing test. I'm glad both of mine managed theirs in hospital at birth rather than having to make a special trip.
Ouch to the cost of the cosy toes, but i agree an essential, and at least you clawed a bit back.0 -
Cath - I personally love the 'look' of the knitted ones but TBH not great in wet/snow/ice. I would recomend you got to office or somewhere and try on the styles, see what you like best then order them.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
