I suppose your priorities change though housewise depending on what you have going on in your life. I know the house we have our eye on is our forever "until we retire and live by the sea" house as it is big with 4 floors so we shouldnt hear each other so much and can escape from the children.:D

I had the little tikes cars with ds1 (17) and ds2 (16) and they have really shot up in price sine they were little. I'm after 2 myself whenever I see them reduced. They had them £10 off in Mr S about 2 months ago I should have got them then! I'll give you a shout in I see them cheap.:)

They had them in white too GG . the pink is totally OTT though and very pink! Its lovely. Glad to be a help!

me a shout when cosy coupe cheap too please. Moving from a flat to a semi with largish garden and we have no outdoor toys other than folding microscooters. Actually a cheapo trampoline would be nice too :). New house has a family bathroom and then there is a downstairs toilet and an ensuite. so 3 loo's between 5. I must admit i'm looking forward to not having little girls needing a poo while i'm having a shower.

Oh an as a side point house we have bought has a bit of side land that is basically dead space. We have already considered either a 2 story extension to the side. The house is bigger than we have and the garden space is great but I think the space is too tight for 3 teenagers so its either and extend or sell and move job.

LP try living in a 3 bed semi with 6 children! :rotfl: What about making the most of your new garden straight away and investing in a activity frame or similar like Michelle has done for her boys this Christmas. Mr T had lot of offers on them this year depending on what size you want. I always got second hand though for outside stuff when mine were little as the tikes stuff weathers quickly and doesn't look new any more.

Has anyone ever had a crib for a baby and if so how long would i expect to get out of it? 6 months?

baby is in a moses basket in our room and he's getting so big he wont be in it much longer. Little lady is also in our room and has the biggest cotbed ever which takes up room. So as a short time measure until we move , Ive been looking on ebay at Cribs from John lewis or M&P and some are immaculate but with me not using a crib before I don't know what the life time of them will be for the baby. Any ideas welcomed ladies.

We have an Amby mini co-sleeper. http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplay0_10751_-1_103101_10001 it does 5-6 months going on DD1 and 2. The matress is 79cms x 44cm no idea of how that compars with a crib.

I was looking at activity frames and specifically some monkey bars, the current owners are leaving a slide and wooden sandpit which looks a bit past it to be honest. DD1 has requested a naughty step in the new house, she thinks she will need it.

Arh bless ! At least she's planning in advance :rotfl:

Its 86cm long whereas cribs are around 105cm so its an option thank you. I'd ideally like wood but we'll have to see

oh she has planned ahead alright. We have told her that our home is sold so we are moving but havent said where too or what until its all sorted out. she says she wants a house with a garden, a trampoline, a slide. A bedroom for her and DD2 somewhere for teapot ( bump called teapot) and a naughty step because she thinks she might have her naughty feet on the day we move.

I have always thought cribs looked pretty.

In an attempt to save money. I'm started using the washable nappies again seeing that life is sort of getting back to normal and I've got a little more time spare to do it. I've also started using my rotaire dryer outside again so that the dryer isn't on constantly. My energy usage has hit the roof recently with having a new addition to the family and DS3 being off school with his broken leg.

He's gone back to school yesterday and now I have to do the school run again as he cant get the bus with his leg in plaster (shame!). With 2 babies to get up and out in the morning and me doing all the night feeds its been stressful and its only day 2! Argggh. Hopefully things will get better with time.

A question if anyone would answer...:)

What would you do if you ordered an item on the"net" from a large company and received 2? The delivery note says 1 on it so they can't trace it.
Would you confess or keep it /sell it?

any comments welcome so that I feel better about my decision please.:)

TBH I have very little morals when it comes to that so I would just leave it for 3-4 weeks then if no contact sell it.
