I'd love to take our little girl to see Santa at Harrods but my fella is being a right scrooge and says we can't afford a trip to London! Boooooo!

Any ideas on how I can convince him that it's not going to be expensive are more than welcome!! :)

Harrods is well worth it, went 3 years ago with my nephews and they loved it! When we where in the queue, 'santas helpers' came out and talked to them, asked them loads of questions and went away, when my nephews went in to see santa, he KNEW everything about them!! Wonder how he knew?!?!?!? But they where so made up, best grotto I have ever been to! Unfortunately, my nephews are too old now to go and see santa :-(....but well worth a visit if you get the chance to go!
  • Had to make a new account just to post here as i've managed to loose my old account info, anybody know what to do if it was registered to an old email account you no longer have? I swore it was my husbands but he hasnt had any emails through :(

I remember last years fiasco with ticketing and can't believe this year harrods was just as bad! Took me an entire morning of trying so i'd finally had enough and thought we'd try selfridges for a change.
Although I've now found out that selfridges have their own page asking to put your details in, I initially found the link on google to the company that are selling the tickets, 'selfridges grotto online tickets'. I've tried for a week now but no luck so far with the site, so thought i'd give them a ring and got a rude tempered employee telling me no-one is meant to be on the site yet as it's not finished and to go to selfridges. Charming :(
I rang selfridges and told them and a nice guy apologised and said they were having some issues, it was delayed but will be announced via email asap. He also said he believed the company take booking money PER ticket, which is so cheeky & i hate!!!!, so it isn't free like harrods if thats true :( You can find them here if your interested www wish4ticket com/event.aspx?eid=7
I just can't understand why these companies use unreliable ticket systems like this, saving money i presume!! :)
Oh well i'll keep trying, what else can we do now :(
