    Afternoon all,

Just dropping in to let you all know that I saw LadyL in starbucks yesterday. She told me all to let you know, and also apologises to those who have texted her for not replying (particularly rosepink and froddy) - she has a lot on her plate at the moment (not just healthwise), and hasn't had any spare energy to reply or go online or anything. She was only out yesterday because her husband said that she needed a change of scene, and she was going to be heading straight home to bed afterwards. I told her that you'd all been sending vibes and spoons her way, and she really appreciated them all. Keep sending them, as every little helps.

Had a nice spontaneous evening last night with Moon - our local pub had a live music and a BBQ, so we wandered down and sat and listened to the music which was really good. Moon had a hotdog and I had a cone of chips to keep me going. I got my chips after Moon had eaten his hotdog, and he was like a gannet the whole time I was eating mine. I was mean and only gave him 2 chips, as I hadn't had any lunch so I was starving. Neither of us were very hungry when we got home, so we just had beans on toast with a bit of grated cheese on for our dinner.

I need to catch up with some washing today - yesterday would have been perfect weather for it, as it was sunny and breezy, but today is very cold and gloomy! So much for the weather getting better over this weekend!

Well I'd better stop complaining and get on with it. We changed the bedding last night (I deliberately stripped the sheets before we went out so Moon couldn't crawl back into dirty ones like last week), so I'm going to have a hoover and dust in the bedroom, as I've got a really bunged up nose at the moment, and can't work out whether it is a cold or dust allergy.

Happy belated birthdays to roundtuit and lil_me.

Hugs to all those who are in need, including flyladies who are incubating flybabies.

Another slow start to the day in the Chaos household. I was feeling grotty last night, so didn't go out. Since I got up I've sorted breakfast x3 and pegged two loads of washing out. The penultimate lot is in at the moment and then there's DS1's bedding, once he's out of it.

Must get myself and DS2 dressed now, as he's going to a party at 2 and we still need to get cards and presents. DH is already at the club, so no help there.

Greenbee, Soappie, Sarah Shattered - Hi!
Hex - sounds like you're up against it at the moment. I'd love an allotment and fruit trees/bushes, but couldn't cope with the extra workload. Will go blackberrying again soon, though.
    Jenny - well done, you!:T
That's good news, triker. Will try to join you with the decluttering later.

Best get a move on now, or DS2 will be late for the party. x

She still lives with her husband, but they are not living as husband and wife any more.

Jenny - well done on the smoking. Try cleaning your teeth every time you want a cigarette (and I mean properly, tepe brushes, floss, mouthwash, the lot) and you'll find you don't want one by the time you're done (and it helps reduce the weight gain associated with quitting too).

I've made gallons of tomato sauce from most of the 5kg box of tomatoes I bought from the farm shop yesterday, and stewed some apricots (which means I have lots of stewed apricots, and also lots of apricot syrup :D).

Just working out the best way to tackle the house while keeping the laundry production line going. I think my best bet is to start upstairs and that way I can do the kitchen when I've finally finished cooking. I won't do the bed today (although it needs it, as I've spent rather too much time in in over the last week) as I want to turn the mattress, so I'll strip it and wash the bedding (including the duvet and the mattress topper) tomorrow morning and OH can help me turn it when he gets back tomorrow evening :D.

Suppose I should go and deal with the next load of washing, empty the dyson and start vacuuming... It's a good thing it isn't sunny or I'd resent spending my bank holiday like this :p

I have a pan of plum and pear chutney on the go
Oven full of beetroot and tomatoes for beetroot relish
blackberries at the ready for fruit leather overnight drying out session

duvet cover is pegged with 6 pegs on to keep it on the line as it is very windy out there.

Better get back to the chutney production line now and sort the jars out for sterilising!
