Crafty - I keep meaning to send you huge hugs about your roof problem. Such a boring but essential thing to have to find money for as well. I hope your neighbours appreciate how lucky they are to have a reasonable person like you?
    Neighbours are being lovely.
Bless them, they haven't been in the house a year yet.
However I am sure they realise that I thought any problems had been sorted when the last owners had the chimney stack looked at and was horrified when I realised it was my dormer that was causing their problems.
Not sure if this makes sense, but I would feel so much better if the damp had come into my house.

Busy weekend - DH needs a car for his new job (car allowance) and his old company car should go this week. No idea if old company are going to pay as they should or if we will have to sue them for breach of contract so fairly stressed and no idea what money we do or don't have which makes it diffcult. The first two cars we wanted yesterday where sold whilst we were waiting, and we saw the third at 6pm as they were closing. Fingers crossed we are the first at 10.30am this morning or we have to go into Mudbath territory to get the next option. He is going to spend a lot of time in it so it is important that it is the right one and he has majorly compromised on what he wanted but still, boys and their toys .
Good luck with getting the car you need

After an exceptionally busy few weeks, I finally got some time off and what happens? I go down with a stinking rotten fluey cold. So I'm on enforced rest at the moment waiting for it all to come out. It's at the all in my head and my glands stage at the moment.
    .
soappie - hugs. Finally having time off is probably why you got ill if that makes sense. Like all the flylady teachers who report sick when term ends.

Hi all, been feeling a bit grotty last few days so fairly energyless, which considering I'm not exactly a bouncing Tigger at the best of times, kind of knocked me for six.

Good news in Triker towers, my hubby has now got news that his job is secure, it'd had been a very stressful and worrying few weeks...I won't go into details. He was very lucky because he was always going to be employed, But its the job he's doing he wanted to stay in, not another, and its been confirmed he will continue to do that.:)

Cue one happy Mr Triker = one happy Mrs Triker.

Anyways, re this flying malarky, yesterday I finally managed to get some stuff listed on ebay, including da dahhhh, some my vast collection of cast iron pots. ;)

I also decided to start moving the front room around and despite the huge pile of stuff on one side of the room it looks better already.

Tomorrow I'm taking the girls to Alton Towers so I'd best get cracking and sorting through some more stuff sharpish.

Soappie, glad to see you hun, :rotfl:re your chickens, bet you really, really love 'em don't you...see chicken keeping should be compulsory.
My girls are laying, one still doing the jelly eggs though, one lays in the house, one always somewhere else, its an original egg hunt...daily :D.

Lil-me, good luck hun re your assignment, lots of 'my your words flow freely' vibes heading your way.

Hex2 good luck re the car and the job stuff, hope it resolves soon hun. x

Crafty, I hope your roof issues get sorted as well, I've not done anything yet re ours...ala bathroom ciling...I don't even know what to do or who to contact to check it...I'm a bit stuck.:(

Jenny good luck re the not smoking, could you get hypnotised maybe, would that help, it helped my friends who both were chain smokers...they both haven't touched one since. Other friends used those fake cigarette inhalators to cut down and stop.

    msgnomey
, ouch re the bites, can you spray yourself in repellent or something?

    uropachild hugs hun

Rach, they don't tell you all this in the mothercare catalogue do they? Hope you get some relief soon hun xxxx BTW loved your bump pics on FB xxxxx

Toots, hey sweetie, how you diddling? You appear to be on a bit of a roll these days, did your infection clear up on the feeding tube site?

Rach I always used a 30/silk/curtains wash but 40 is usually ok too. Couple of denture tablets or napisan (or the cheaper boots nappy soak) gets them far whiter than normal powder ;)

Triker yay that is great news! However *cough* that list looks way too big for one day! Trim it please or you will make yourself poorlier!

Soappie me too :( yucky isn't it. Hope you feel better soon

Crafty that sounds like a nice idea... I'm wondering if I can cope with downstairs being a mess a bit longer to do my room....

Well not done much so far, not being able to talk got me out of doing DPs club. So chicken can go in oven, but I do need spuds, eggs & veg for dinner so I'll have to make a little more effort to look presentable. Like I can be bothered? Days like this I sometimes wish I had 'normal' kids to go for me lol nevermind

List for today (dp working later as it's bh weekend)

Shop for eggs, spuds, veg, bread, actually best do a list
Read more stuff for assignment - self reflection so I hate it! Do at least half the word count before midnight
    Cook dinner
Clear the junk from in front of my wardrobe so I can open the door
Put clothes away when I can open the door
Look at ds1s dla renewal form - well that's a start hate doing them
    2 loads 'normal laundry'
Pack caravan linen/throws/towels into bags for storage
Sort through bills, make sure enough in accounts to cover first ones

Best go find some scales to weigh this bird & get some clothes on that don't have holes in/brush my hair etc
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks, do you just stick the steradents in the machine? I have some I think, otherwise have ecover landry bleach which is great. not sure will get around to it today, need DH to be in the mood to take them down and wash down all the window frames...tomorrow I think! :D

Sorry you've not been feeling too good Triker, thanks for the comments on my pics :D Do lvoe my bump! I can't help thinking I've made pregnancy worse for myself by being a bit overweight before I started but apparently SPD can happen to anyone! I am just paranoid about the birth and can't really think about it at all.

Have been back to bed for an hour and now DH is up I'll put the WM on, once I've had a shower (been instructed not to try getting in and out when he's not here to help!)

Rach - Yes I usually just plop them in the machine or the drawer, gran used to always soak them in the bath with them but I got lazy when I was pregnant so stuck them in the machine. I use them for school tops, White towels etc etc lol oh and I always hang nets damp at least never ever dry and then the little crinkles drop out. As long as they are not dripping wet. I don't have them in this house but still do them for his nan, grandma etc. I think I used 2 last time with a spoon of wash liquid
One day I might be more organised...........
