Just lost a longish reply, so here's the short version. Mr A and costco have been selling packs of 48 for around £10. I can recommend Hill's Science Plan (complete dry food). My cats did really well on it and the huge bag lasts for ages. Good value for money and no smelly, messy dishes to deal with. :D You can get small trial packs to see if they like it.

Hills is not a great food for cats, have a look at this thread for an unbiased analysis of dry cat food.

    This one for wet food

I currently feed my cat Pets at Home complete dry food and Hi Life pouches, i will be switching to Bozita or Animonda when i have finished my current stock.

Morning everyone. I haven't had time to read through the thread, this is a flying visit, it's too hectic here this morning, but hugs to anyone who needs them.

I've got a good half of my backlog of laundry done over the last couple of days, great, however I now have a dining table full of ironed clothes ready to take upstairs and a playpen half of clothes ready to iron-eeek.

Got the plasterer coming at 3 so best get on...

Just come back with DS2 - 2 B Maths, Science
4 C Graphics, French, English Lang English Lit
    2 D History, PE
    1 E RE/Citizenship

He's very pleased, although disappointed that he did so badly in PE, and can't be sure why - he'll probably be able to do the BTech course though. The mark for History may mean a change from Classics - but he has got his sixth form place anyway.

Just waiting for my niece to collect hers - expecting her to get straight A* or A's.

Just popping in to say hello. I failed miserably last week in terms of housework but things are looking better. Managed to blitz all of upstairs yesterday - 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with both kiddies DD3 and DS1 in tow so feeling much better today. Also did some sorting out and ebayed 6 items to clear some space!
Planning on doing the same downstairs today but will have to wait till after lunch as I am now off to make packed lunches as we have DD's tennis lesson this lunchtime. Will let you know how I get on later ...

    Plan for today-

    -HHI
-Fix DH suit trousers - refusing to spend £10 for someone else to do a ten minute job even if I do hate all forms of sewing!
-WM - 2 loads - on my first still :o
    -make bread
-clean playroom / utility / cloakroom / conservatory / kitchen / lounge / hall / cloakroom - study can wait till next week!

  • Well done on all the exam results - but takes me back many many years!

No flying here this morning on the house - am struggling through tax, charity commission requirements, giftaid & PTA's. Interesting puzzle - big thumbs up to Charity Commission staff (very helpful on the phone) and thumbs down to HMRC (both offices I phoned weren't too helpful - or technically knowledgeable). Thankfully as I work in a similar world I have sorted it out now - so now amassing all the details I need to grab from people to get the annual returns done, and giftaid reclaims for the last year in.

Next year, will, I hope be easier..

I hope to fly here later, but kitchen is looking fine and dining room can be done with DS's help once he's home.

    see you all later,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Poohbear, ta hun, I thought it could be a new layer, but you may be right about one having a fright, it was wierd, very jelly blobby like with the yolk inside.

I should have said that you can still eat the shell-less eggs. We never waste them, they make good scrambled egg:)

We have had a few incidences where people have walked across the fields with dogs off leads and then over the stile into the farmyard and all hell is let loose as they chase my poor girls around. Then we get jelly eggs!

Also, sometimes I go out to collect the eggs and our huge dog puts his head into the nest box where there is a girl sitting on an egg. We usually get a wobbly one the next day.

yay serena, tell your son well done!

DK, I just saw you exam news. Well done to your two too.You must all be very proud.

gandb, cold here too. I have the tumble dryer and dehumidifier on as we did loads of washing during the night to save on electricity costs!! I bit short sighted:o
