  • DS has registered at college...and has now gone to Casualty...... because he thinks he's broken his finger!

i think that lad's collection of neurones is decreasing by the day!

well noone knows how he did it - but t'finger is broken at the knuckle joint - and I think he was lucky to miss some tendon or other:eek: - he's had it xrayed and strapped and has to go back on Friday to fracture clinic!

Doubt he'll be able to work though - he'll try tomorrow........

Good to see you back Jinky!

Exam results tomorrow - DD2 has no back up plan..... so .... gulp.... fingers crossed!

Thank you everyone, DS2 settled now, although I will have to wake him up for a feed now - hopefully it'll mean he'll sleep a bit longer this eve...

uropachild DS1 (Oliver) will be three in October and DS2 (Jake) will be 6 weeks on Thursday! Hard work but totally worth it :) And as for the stains, have you tried soaking in nappisan? I usually try that and then wash it with more nappisan in with the powder. Then, if the sun is shining (don't laugh, it does happen occasionally!) hanging it to dry with the stain facing the sun can help "bleach" it out too. HTH

MrsChaos I could have killed him! Although I guess it was my fault for leaving the baby shampoo on the edge of the bath. I'd literally used it twice, there was so much in the bath the water had gone yellow! Will have to remember to give it a good rinse out so I don't slip over when I have a bath in the morning... I know I complain about OH but he does work really hard. He's usually out of the house before 6am and doesn't get home again until after 6pm. Some days last week he worked 16 hours, so it's not really fair for me to expect him to start hoovering and cooking dinner when he gets home. It would be nice if he could put his socks on the laundry basket, but that's another matter...

hex2 Thank you, it is tough, and exhausting, but totally worth it :)
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

Also need to go to Mr T for cat food, and vinegar if I'm going to descale the taps...

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy cat food pouches in bulk? It's something we always seem to run out of causing an unplanned trip to the supermarket where I spend more than I should. We have a pets at home nearby, is it worth bulk buying from there?
