    Evening all

I've made quite good progress on the family room.

Bed remade bar the sheet which is still airing and DS1 has made his bed.

Going to do a little bit more in here before putting DS3 to bed.

Good luck to all collecting GCSE results tomorrow (and their teachers)

It seems so long ago now that they were all sitting them back in May. I've got 2 collecting tomorrow, one first modules and one final modules. Only the Maths for DS1 is vital as our school stipulate an A to do it at A level

Level 3 this week, but there's less clutter than there used to be so much easier!! Just got the porch/hall to do but that will have to wait til the afternoon as I'm off out shopping, bank etc.
    Happy Flying ladies!:hello:

Well, I didn't go out - got it into my head it was a bank holiday, so that's planned for tomorrow. CBA doing the porch either as I spent the day up in the loft putting down flooring boards to help with the mega decluttering which is needed up there. I'm itchy, knackered and I banged my knee, so that's all swollen :(. Sympathy needed as DS2 gave me none, just smirked when I showed him the swollen bruise. Heartless!;)

Well I'm going to have a shower, oh bu gger, forgot to water greenhouse cos it's rained all day and cba getting wet so I suppose I'll be doing that first, then hopefully find something decent on tv.
    Have a nice evening Ladies.

Well, everything I can do on todays list is done, just need to do dinner dishes and S&S kitchen before bed. Had a sucessful day, but the evening has gone downhill - bathed DS2 and he scrfeamed blue murder, which is stressful enough, then plonked DS1 in the bath while I dressed DS2 and he poured a brand new whole bottle of baby shampoo in the bath :wall: OH came in, I handed him his gym stuff and he went out again, so I put both kids to bed on my own, then cooked dinner which turned into an eggy disaster! Just waiting for him to turn his nose up at it when he comes in. Now DS2 wont settle and I'm having to go into him every 5 minutes. At least I'm getting a good workout going up and down the stairs...

    Roll on bedtime...
    So, there are these boys,

Oooh that's it. I'm done for the day. :D

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three
    :T:T:T:T:T

    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. Wipe the windows in these areas
    My Extras:
    1. Book a table for your birthday meal. Tried, but no answer!
    2. Finish editing photos from the seaside yesterday & blog them

    I've also done...

    S&S Kitchen
    Swept kitchen floor
    Taken recycling out
Moved some stuff into the shed
    Washed the small pushchair accessories
    1 x WM & 1 x TD
Cleaned the lean mean from last nights sausages (i hate that job!)
Cleaned out the guinea pigs and moved to a more sheltered position in the garden
Decluttered my handbag and DDs bag
Cooked salmon & potatoes for tea and eaten it all up. YUM!
Receipts logged on spreadsheet & banking spreadsheet completed (yes, i like spreadsheets)
New bank accounts for DD opened

    QUESTION

A lot of DDs clothes have stains on them which are typically orange. I have tried soaking in stain remover, applying direct to the cloth and leaving it ages and then washing with a prewash with more stain remover and washing at a higher temp, like 60, but the stains will not budge!! Do you think it would be worth buying some biological washing stuff to use on these things - i usually only use non-bio.

hollyh, you done that ebay & bath toys yet or do i get my kicking boots on?? :p

hellyboo, (((hugs))) It's so frustrating when they won't settle! How old are your kids? (i'm just a nosy !!!!!!). :)

Best of luck to all those getting their / their kids / their grandkids / their students GCSE results tomorrow. I have fingers crossed for everyone!
    Sarah. :p
DD is 8 years old DS1 is 6 years old
    DS2 is 14 months old

My DS2 has done that, too. He got into the habit of adding extra bubble bath or trying to wash his own hair. On one occasion the water was so soapy that I could wash his hair without using extra shampoo and I had to use the shower to rinse it, which he hated. I can laugh about it now, but at the time it really wasn't funny.
Would your DH agree to a rota? Sounds like you could do with some help. (((((hugs)))))

uropachild - I buy value biological washing stuff, wash the stained small child stuff with that then wash again with fairy non bio because my DS1 is really rather allergic to anything else. The other option is adding a scoop of soda crystals to the mix but even with that I have to re-wash.

    serena -

I have finished the kitchen, a bit left to do in the DR, and made a start on the LR. Working tomorrow - be glad to get away from the house but really CBA.

Hellyboo - hugs for you, it isn't easy. I promise though it does get better over time.

For any XFaxtor watchers (which i am not normally) but from last nights show the girl Gamu (with the flower in her hair) was a pupil from the school where i work have heard many an assembly where she sang and she is very good but a quiet personality so dont think she will get through to the main show which would be a shame as she really is good.

    j

so good apparently that she didn't need the Auto-tune option that some of the other contestants needed - according to The Times today. I'm not a fan of X factor, and find it incredible that they are running a singing competition where they correct the bad singing!!! Hardly fair to the voting audience :D
