I can't get to the filter as it's at the back of the machine and the machine is built into the unit. I'm not going to attempt to unscrew and pull machine out on my own. My Dad was no help :rotfl:. So I'll ring letting agent now and see what they say. I'm going to parents for lunch tomorrow so can take my washing with me so will get it done eventually.

Gotta say impressed with letting agent. She has organised a company to come look at WM (and hob cos one ring doesn't work). They just rung and said they will be here at 11. I think they may just look at it rather than fix today but u never know! I had better hot-foot it in shower :rotfl:

    Morning All,

Gosh you are early birds for a Saturday.

Sun peeping through the clouds so will risk the washing on the line.

The usual Saturday morning clean up after breakfast and then need to get back on track with my diet. DM brought a chocolate cake on Wednesday when they came for tea. One of those utterly irresistible things that you warm up and have with ice cream. I have had 2 big pieces this week:o must do better.

Boring stuff today. The car needs new brake pads so will be having a look for those and hopefully DH will fit them himself.

He is in the doghouse at the moment, we got a speeding ticket this morning which I will have to take as he already has 6 points:mad:

Just had breakfast made for me, he is very sheepish, wonder what else I can get done today:cool:

    Have a good day peeps

    Morning all

Hoping to get a day in the garden, cooler here today as it was very muggy yesterday, sun is trying to get out so fingers crossed. Nothing else planned apart from making a corned beef pie and get some washing done, flutteryby - know how you feel, our dishwasher decided not to work the other day and it's all integrated though by some miracle has now decided it will work:p

Bargainbird - thanks for your kind words about the house. The new parasol was a bold choice because I would normally have gone for something more subtle, but I really like it! Just need to get cushions to match but they weren't on offer at the same time as the parasol was for some reason. I'll have to keep popping in hopefully - it's a lovely shop, though, so I won't mind that!

Redruby - thanks for asking about the cat but, sadly, there's still no sign of him. Thursday will be four weeks, so I'll probably have to resign myself to the fact that he has gone for good.

Welcome to Inkie - I used to have a friend called Ingrid and her nickname at school was Inkie so you reminded me of someone I haven't thought about in years! I know you'll love it on this thread!

Flutterby - good luck with the machine. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Well, I should have gone food shopping but I'm having a good clean up instead because the sun shining through the windows was showing up the dust! Otherwise, I'm sure it could have waited a while longer! I still have to go shopping but will do that after lunch.
