    Good Morning All

    Safe journey Donny

Sorry to hear the weather is still bad N9eav, this has definately been a very disappointing summer :(

Been up quite a while, trying to get back into routine. 1 load of washing is blowing on the line. At the moment it is perfect drying weather, sunny & blowy. There are some black clouds but I am ignoring them :rotfl:feels like September weather.

Just about to wake up DD so she can get ready for her library job. DS will get himself ready for footie. Whilst they are both out I plan to pop into little town. Need a couple of bits and have a M&S voucher so will have a look in there for inspiration for dinner tonight. Need to get some chipolata's fir dinner tomorrow. Will also have a little look around the charity shops.

Other than that will be pottering around the house doing this & that. Ironing is up straight at the moment :j& I plan the iron the stuff as it comes off the line.

Nothing much else to report - going to enjoy a peacefull day. Hope you all have a good one whatever you are doing.x

Sunshine blazing through the kitchen window here this morning...I'm sure it won't last!

My house is a tip! I've taken extra painkillers so just waiting for them to kick in and then I'll make a start. Also need to tweek meal plan and do shopping list which i've still not done! Enjoyed dinner last night...the meat from the butchers inside Mr A is lovely - much better quality that their own but pricer as you'd expect so getting it when its reduced evens out. Was very impressed by the sausages (very little fat in them) how sad is my life that I am impressed by a sausage :rotfl:

Anyway today we will have something for lunch and something else for dinner :D DH is at work so I have a MS this evening to order a pizza so he'll have that...saves me cooking at 9pm.

Best put the kettle on - I have a feeling I will need the caffeine today - I'm suprised I slept at all last night after the massive sugar overload I had :D

    Traa J x

Not sad at all us women like a good sausage :D

    Morning all,

Wet here again, my tomatoes have no chance of ripening in this weather :(.

I have one load in the wm, its all OH work stuff, can't do anymore today, as I have no way of drying it.

Yesterdays plans changed, my dear old dad was having a confused day, so we did not go out for lunch for his birthday, we may go next week instead, anyway its my sisters birthday today, so her and her OH are coming here tonight, we will either get an indian takeaway, or I will do some nibbles, her choice, will invite mum and dad too, but that depends on how my dad is.

Jackie G, that site is dangerous :D, I love those door hooks, but I want three, I am debating with myself if I can spend that much on hooks, you are a very bad woman :p

So today, we will have a quick tidy round, just straighten things up really, then I want OH to put the new light fitting up in the spare room, and put the sockets back on the wall etc, I hope all my accessories come today too :j.

    Donny, safe trip home xx

Kathy, any sign of the cat yet ??

OK better get on, have good days all xx

    Morning All,

Typed a long reply but modem crashed, Grr!

The long and the short of it was, sorry to BBird and Redruby, I have resisted buying anything and will look at my shopping cart every couple of days before submitting my order! Some blue creeping through the clouds, DS2 at footie today, staying at home to do some houseowrk and organise some stuff for OH's birthday tomorrow, have a good day all!

And Happy 21st Birthday to ButterflyBrain's DD, hope you all have a magical day.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Been following these threads for a while and so thought i'd join in. Sunny here in Yorkshire at the moment - washing done and out on the line. Packing up a tub of (free) croissants and heading up into the dales to go to the (free) scarecrow festival at Kettlewell. Been before and it's an excellent day out for the kids. Just recharging the batteries for the camera at the minute.

Took some (reduced) mince and hm pasta sauce out of the freezer and so will have that for tea when we come in. DH on holiday next week and so will be doing some decorating - given him the task of going in to the garge to see what we have already got paint-wise before going out and buying any!

    Have a good day all!

    Welcome inkie!!

Redruby, just think how long you will have them though, I have hooks on the back of my bedroom door which were in my grandmother's house when I was a child! :D

    Morning All

Well, the weather was lovelty and sunny when I got up but it is now very grey and overcast, think the washing will have to go on the racks. Was going to strip the beds but may leave that till tomorrow unless it brightens up.

DS2 gone to help friends to take walls down in their house, it has been a major renovation project for some time and now it's the living room's turn. All the lath and plaster has to come off so good luck to them. Think I will stay here and give them thought support! DD still in bed, hopefully she will sleep off the sick bug she had yesterday.

Got shopping to do today, may try a real butchers as we are now eating meat again but not sure if I can manage - the smell of raw meat still turns my stomach! Dropped stuff off at CS yesterday and didn't take my bag (and parked illegally) and sod's law I saw a stone pot that I really liked so will probably go back to have another look this morning.

Fancy starting some knitting but I'm not very good so will have a look for some easy things to do.

Safe trip Donny, wish we had half your heat!

Hope those who feel under the weather feel better soon.

    Have a great weekend. XX

    Welcome inkie

There appears to be a problem with my WM . it got to almost the end of the cycle and then an error message came up. It's never done that before. The error according to the manual was that the water was not draining. It tells me to check the hose is not twisted and/or clean the pump. Problem is that it is an intergrated machine so I cannot get to the back easily. I am going to ring my Dad to see if he can come look at it, because although I live in rented flat the letting agent can take awhile to sort things out and I can't do without my WM!
