DrFluffy - easyjet have a habit of landing early. They do overestimate their flight times so that even if they are late they are still "on time", and everyone loves it.
 Brilliant idea 0 0

Their flight times are similar to BA's though - so if Sleasy are doing it, then so is everyone elserallymad wrote:DrFluffy - easyjet have a habit of landing early. They do overestimate their flight times so that even if they are late they are still "on time", and everyone loves it.

We landed in Barcelona early because we took off early... The plane was fulled boarded in about 10-15 minutes. No waiting around for the type of !!!!!! you then see on 'Airline' complaining that the flight didn't wait for their lazy !!!! April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200

If you are travelling together for a weekend and you are going to be slightly over the hand luggage weight by a few kilos.
Book 2 tickets one can book no luggage hand only, and the other pay for hold luggage.
Thats each can cary 10 kg hand and one can book in your one suitcase.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

Aghh ryanair... I think they get 3 year olds to fly there planes, there ever so small , just not a pleasant journey..
Ryanair staff charge people when they want, a familly in front of us got charged, we were over and never got charged , I think it was whenever they felt like it/ or could be bothered.
I would recommend easyjet out of the two.. slightly better =]

If you take into account that you are going to have to pay to get from Girona to Barcelone, and pay for your luggage the diffence won't be that great. I must say I have flown with both Easyjet & Ryan Air - prefer Easyjet.0

            Easyjet. No question.
Easyjet fly into Barcelona airport. Get a bus outside the terminal for about 3 Euros and you will be in Barcelona within 15 minutes.
Ryanair fly to Girona. This is about 70 miles North of Barcelona. They put on a bus, but it takes about 90 minutes to get to Barca and drops you in a street about 3/4 of a mile from the town centre. You also have to pay for this bus, which costs about 14 Euros each way.0

This is actually to allow a small to moderate headwind and account for delays at runway holding points etc. Most airlines do it0
