The book is out - just £10 at amazon. I had a quick look at it in Waterstone's the other day and it looks Good. I have put it on my amazon wish list, and will be making heavy hints to family next month when it is my birthday!!

Whats the deal with the pricing on pre-orders, if they reduce it before they send it they refund me the difference?
When do they debit the card before they send it or now?
What I mean is do they charge me the lowest price or refund

I'm pretty sure they only debit the card when they send the book, so if they reduce the price in the meantime, you are only charged the appropriate amount, not what it was when you ordered it.

  • Just watched this on the iplayer. Am now feeling very hungry and might just have to bake a cake or two!

Nice to Mel and Sue presenting again - I like them a lot but haven't seen much of them lately.
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

    Hypnotherapy rocks :j
  • I felt sorry for the poor bloke whose marmalade cake sank too. I agree it was probably the unfamiliar oven but he just looked so devastated :(

If he'd sliced the top off so it had a level top, he could have garnished it with cubes of cake from the surplus bit, coated in marmalade syrup and possibly got away with it.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

Sigh. I am so weak. I was just in Asda, they had the book for £12 and I bought it. Never mind that I'm supposed to be baking only low fat recipes at the moment as I'm on a diet :(
