Lost Luggage Auctions guide

Does anyone know when there the lost property auctions for East Mids or Birmingham airports are held? I have been going to the West Mids Police lost property auction for a couple of months but cant seem to find any information on the airlines.

Hi, sorry I can't answer your question but have a question for you, are the police auctions any good, what sort of stuff turns up.
  • Yeah, when are the West Mids Police ones, and where are they held?
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
  • Biddle & Webb in Brum. 1st Tuesday of the month. Sometimes good sometimes pants. For instance I have had a Nikon D50 camera with accessories in a nikon bag for £45 + vat + 13.5% auction fees. I also had a pair of Olympus eyetrek glasses for £22 + vat +13.5% which I sold on Ebay for over £100. It depends what you want really. If it is power tools such as drills etc then you will have loads of choice!! Bikes are a plenty going for £10 a piece. Had a couple of PS2s but because people know what they are they fetch decent money. The best thing to do is view on the Saturday before the auction. (until 12 I think) get a catalogue and write exactly what the item is come home and price it up on Ebay. Work out what you want to pay for it and remember to add in the fees etc. For instance in the catelogue the Nikon Camera said "1 x Digital Camera" it was only when I looked at what it was and realised it was worth about £450 I knew it was worth bidding on. You also get loads of clothes there with the labels still on.

So any info on the Airports anyone?

Hi, me again, more questions, how did you find out where the auctions were. I'm in South Wales and wondered if they have any this way and how I'd find out. Thanks.

are there any police or airport auctions in Manchester or Lancashire?
    There will always be:
A “LIE” in BELIEVE, an “OVER” in LOVER, an “END” in FRIEND, an “US” in TRUST , and an “IF” in LIFE ;)
