Arghhh don't tempt me I luuuurve hot doughnuts. There's a doughnut stall on the sea front which I pass everyday and I must admit to nipping in there more than is good for me, thank goodnes the season is nearly finished and it shall close for the winter or I'll be rolling around like a pea on a drum.

    Buy one at your peril

    Hi :)

I just bought a Tchibo Donutmaker today, one of those electric thingummyjiggys, trouble is it only come with german, russian and polish instructions and I only speak english.

(I assumed since the box was written in english along with these languages there would be english instructions too.)

I just wondered if anyone here has a copy of the instructions in english?

If you have, not asking you to reproduce the whole lot, but if you could give me the basics on how to use it safely I'd be really greatful as I've waited years to buy one of these!

    Thank you very much!!

I would love one too but would end up eating donuts all the time, bad thing!

Are there instructions online? Often review sites have quite detailed instructions on them

    Hi Pipkin,

There's a recipe on this thread that might help:

Failing that you could call their customer services to see if they can send you the instructions in English. Customer services no: 08701 62 52 42

    Thanks very much everyone!

On your thread Pink was someone else who has bought and used one,so I've pm'ed them to ask for tips on how to use it!

I had to buy it Lyndsay,I missed it last year and kicked myself.

The good thing is that Tchibo bring a lot of the same stuff back year after year, just in slightly different designs,so popular stuff that you miss out on you will get a chance to buy again.

    Tchibo stuff rocks!!

If not, email me the instructions in German if you can scan them in and I'll translate into English for you.

I used to haunt Tchibo nearly every week and I have almost got every single gadget/cooking type thing they make. I especially have to avoid it when they have their cleaning themes, with mops, micro cloths, duster gadgets etc as I am like a moth to a flame.

I would not want a doughnut maker but picked up a perfectly good ice cream maker (Phillips) boxed as new in charity shop for £5. Used once but at least I have it!!

I would love to be slim and really get into OS eg baking and making biccies and pies etc, but it's just not possible.:D
