Do you know what, just remembered my spinner that broke after a couple of uses was oxo & my garlic press was too - I emailed them about the garlic press - I had forgotten about the spinner:mad: - they asked for the shop & date I bought it from & the receipt, I answered I didn't have these & they haven't responded:mad::mad::mad:

Shame I have two peelers that I love & the masher. I'm a real fan - but I'm wondering should I be?
they've re-designed/re-jigged the spinner, does yours have the glass bowl?

I have the plastic bowl, but I'll be keeping a close eye on it now I've heard what happened to yours

    Plastic.

I'm quite annoyed now. If they make a kitchen tool I buy it in preference to any others. But I don't think I will anymore, especially as they didn't bother to respond.

I'm annoyed too, on your behalf because yours is broken & on mine because I'm wondering about its longevity now

it works far far better than any of the other salad spinners I've had over the years & that's the sort of standard I expect from their brand

but as well as being well designed & functional, I'd expect the spinner to last a good few years!

You need to pierce the yolk (one sharp stab with a fork) or else it will explode.

I did, you have to do when making the egg muffin or the yolk doesn't spread over the top of the egg.

For anyone who doesn't want to stink of garlic from these recipes containing fresh garlic, have you tried this.

If you have a JTF Wholesale Warehouse nearby they have them for £2.99 pre VAT, £3.52 after. I have just bought one so don't know how good they are as I only bought it about 20mins ago. :)

You don't need to have a business any longer to be able to shop at this place, they must be short of business as they will let anyone in, jut sign up for membership card when you go in.

I saw it used on a cooking show & it looked really smart, but when I did the research, the 49 1 star reviews out of 103 on Amazon.com put me off
