  • I ordered a few bits from them the other week.
I ordered on Friday at 4.30pm and the items arrived on Monday morning. All glass jars were bubble wrapped inside the main box.
I was very impressed with the service and will definitely use them again.
It does say FREE delivery on the onion powder but not sure how that works.

Cheers! Glad to hear they were good, I'll definitely buy the poppadoms now!

I read the free delivery bit as being like the old Amazon 'supersaver' delivery, it told you it qualified but you still had to spend over X ammount to get it delivered free. May be wrong though but you're right, it's not too clear!

Right, update on the egg making saga. :D

I've decided the next time I make them I'm going to use my small round lock & lock pots as a mold instead!

I nipped into Tesco earlier to have a look at their lock and lock containers.

The small round one probably would be ok to do the egg in and they are on offer at the minute, £1 each instead of £1.50. Not a massive saving but worth it just to make the egg in.

I will buy one myself tomorrow and give it a try.

    ;)

My very fussy cat loves the Doner Kebab meat!

I have been making the potato wedges and adding mixed herbs to the recipe. I tend to make three times the amount, so just multiply the amount by 3.

The mixed herbs make them very tasty. My ds reckons mine are better than the take away ones! :)

Have also done the white kebab sauce as a dip. Very nice.

WOW the curry looks delish :T

I didn't think much of the meatball subs I made on Wednesday. I had to re-heat them because everyone was out late so the sauce dried up a bit. OH and son loved them so I can't moan too much.

This morning I was going to make sausage patties for breakfast muffins tomorrow. I've just found out I split beef mince and froze it instead of pork mince (serious brain fade this week :o) Asda have delivered the most rubbish dated mince ever... use by tomorrow!!! I only got my shop in on Wednesday  Can I still make them and freeze half for another time? I know it always says freeze on the day of purchase but does everyone stick to this?

I don't, I've often had something in the fridge for a few days intending to use it then decide to stick it in the freezer. If it looks and smells okay I'd freeze it.
