I store my spices in jam jars in a drawer with labels on top so I can see at a glance what's inside....it means I can use larger jars for bigger packs of spice. Now following Kenny's blog, thanks0

I'm sure I've seen this answered on here before but searched and nothing came up, so, where would I get garlic powder and onion powder to make the lamb doner kebab from the Takeaway Secret?
Thanks.0 -
most supermarkets do a 'spice' section and you will find them there. If you can only find 'Granules' instead of powder those work just as well! you can grind them finer if you want, but I didnt bother and the recipe worked just beautifully with granules.
That lamb doner was just like my local takeaway - GS said it was even better than at his!0 -
My tub of garlic powder is made by Rajah if this helps - I think it got it in a B&M shop or somewhere similar.
I can't post links as I'm a newbie but pop it in Google and lots of results, including mysupermarket.co.uk where it says you can buy online in Asda0 -

Yes Adsa do sell it - but it was sold out when I wanted it! just advising OP that the granules work just as well in the quantities stated in recipe! always good to have an alternative!:)0 -

Any Asian shop will do both. Loooove the garlic sauce recipe from Takeaway secret. So easy to make healthier with more yoghurt than mayo, and the garlic powder now gets used in other recipes too!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
