I find the naans I make don't have the pocket that pitas do, but I've not used the recipes from the book, so perhaps Kenny's naans puff up? maybe someone else will know

depends how bothered you are about stuffing the meat & salad inside the bread, they'd both taste great

not a lot of help me :o

Ok I've mixed 3x marinade as I had 750g chicken. It looks like it'll be enough :o

The butcher didn't slice them as thinly as I'd like but I'll have to make do. :( I suppose it won't matter too much if they are a bit thick?

I think I'll go with pittas, it would be nicer to stuff them.

One more question: can I make them a few hours in advance and then re-heat?

Thank you so much for all your help, it's like having a very friendly helper in the kitchen with me! :j

use the rest of the pork mince to make loads of patties, & freeze them so I can take them out a couple at a time.

I've been doing this and cooking from frozen. If this helps you out at all.

I'm off work this week so decided to use the time to trial loads of recipes. Szechuan chicken tonight! Probably with chow mien from the second book. I used to work the counter in a chinese years ago & they did show me how to make a few things, so i will have to try hard to keep to the recipe. I tend to cook by instinct!

Also did some of the choc cookies last night. Hubby mentioned (after his second) that they were maybe a bit sweet, so I may cut down the sugar a bit next time.

Reporting back. The chicken was delicious, as were the choc chip cookies. (I was hoping they'd last a few days at least but most of them have already been eaten!)
I want to add a bit less sugar next time, do I need to change any of the other ingredients?

    Hmmm what to make next?

Schezuan chicken had a bit too much ginger for us. Although I do also think I had some particularly pungent fresh ginger from the market.

Found my mums old Tupperware burger maker and made a load of sausage burgers for the sausage mc muffins. Hubby hasn't tried one yet so I think I will be producing one later!

I don't think you will need to change any of the other ingredient weights, it's not like making a cake where you have to even things up.

I have made Twinks Hob Nobs https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/471992 and have reduced the sugar content by a few ounces and they always come out fine.

    Thank you, sb44 :)
The cookies weren't as sweet the next day for some reason (they were better!!) my brother took some for his mates and they thought they were bought lol. They've requested TWO more batches for themselves so I think they were a hit :D

I will have to have a go at making them myself, I haven't got around to it yet.

    ;)
