I use granulated sugar for the muffins and they are fine.

If you are using silicon cases or even normal paper cases, you are best to use a muffin tray too.

Otherwise the muffin won't rise as much, it spreads out sideways as it cooks, the tray will help support the sides and it will give you a 'taller' muffin.

    ;)

I bought a Prestige muffin tray from Argos, it is brilliant as any overflow from your muffins doesn't stick. If you buy one now you can buy another Prestige item at half price.

Granulated sugar is fine for most recipes. I try to always buy Silver Spoon sugar, as I find their Granulated almost as fine as caster sugar anyway.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I've made the lamb doner kebab recipe but made it into burgers. We're going camping so I needed to be able to cook it on the BBQ so thought burgers would be ideal! I also made the red and white sauces and we'll have them in pittas with salad. Hope they're as good as done the normal way!

If you need caster sugar, use your liquidiser/food processor to make caster from granulated. This is what I always do. Only takes a few seconds

    Hello!
I really like indian food. Malaya is my favorite, but I can't find a recipe anywhere . Everywhere I look I see something with vegetables and I'm looking for something sweet, with bananas and pineapple. Anyone knows where can I get a recipe?

    Have you tried these sites?

The one below has more than 8,000 curry recipes so hopefully you should find something there. ;)
