KK i know its hard but if your cramping get up and get moving. get these cramps to do somthing and get that babies head on your cervix. Castor oil is evil, the idea is give you diawoowoo and trigger contractions but as lolly said can make you sick, leave you dehydrated etc etc. curry, kebab or anything that usually gived you an iffy tummy. A friend of mine used licorice allsorts as that what goes thru her.

I've managed a walk and spent some pennies in the arcades:D Holiday makers everywhere!! I had to protect bump... and DS's arm!

Being a razor/shaver girl I don't know much about hair removal products. Thought I'd share that with you!;):rotfl:

Can you get cream stuff then that you can shower off??? Sort of squirt on wash off jobby! I know all the Veet type stuff that you put on and scrap off but isn't there an easier option? Oh I really am a removal cream virgin:o:o:o:p

I don't really fancy a NHS shave "down there" in quick speed if I'm needing an emergency CS:eek: and also want to be prepared for an elective one too.

And CS expert ladies... I take it you don't get afterpains like with a normal delivery??

Thanks guys I shall avoid caster oil. I don't particularly want to encourage loo visits as sorry if tmi but I seem to have been having a clear out for 4 weeks now!

Just had a lovely roast dinner that me and OH cooked, feel so stuffed! OH is being v understanding, did row earlier where he told me he hated the way I was at the moment but once we both opened up and I told him I felt like it was my fault and I was letting him down he understood and has been lovely telling me how proud he is of me :)

I've now ran out of rlt, I don't think it was actually doing anything anyway and I would need to order more online as no holland and barrat nearby so that's bit of a shame!

Guna go for walk soon, there's a beautiful hall 1.5 miles down road so will go there been as it's actually lovely and sunny :)

*labour vibes* to those who need them :)

Smartie veet did do an 'in shower' removal cream where you lather it on, leave for few mins then rinse off. I think it smelt a bit funny but I used to use it quite a lot, I just use razors now! Is it standard nhs practise to 'shave it off'? I really do not fancy that.... I need to go to Boots!!!

EDIT: I think it came with a small sponge to apply??!

For a c section they shave it off cos they do the cut just under the bikini line (I think??)

Normal delivery they don't... but I think they used to "in the old days";)

I can't get "there" with a razor... and I aint letting DH do it!! I don't have a mirror to have a look either plus I'm not very good at coordination whilst looking in mirror if you know what I mean!!:rotfl:

The plug can actually re-generate itself so you can lose it over and over again...

And Kitkat, the RLT won't bring on labour, it makes your body more effective during labour... I drank it the last 2 times and my body postively ejected my girls once I was dilated enough... Don't underestimate things ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Smartie there is a shower one like kitkat said its what i use you apply just before entering the shower just slap it on then rinse off using the rough side of the sponge to exfoliate the hair away. It doesnt do an absolutely perfect job but its better than the au natural forrest look :-)

Do they still dry razor you in hospital ? Apparently they use baby powder its better than water and shaving cream or have i just dreamt that ?

Thanks Smartie I wasn't sure about that! I can't trim mine now so maybe cream would be easier! I'm not asking my OH... Terrible idea!!!

Krystal: I did not know that about the plug!

Does anyone know if your induced do you still have the same options, like a water birth?
