Glad (I think) to see that I'm not the only one up at this stupid time with acid reflux/heartburn whatever it is. 33 weeks today - another 5 before induction seems like a long way off...0

MLSL - Poor you. I was 14 days OD last time, I was fed up the first week but relaxed more the 2nd. I know how you feel.
Also got heartburn, I fell asleep on the sofa at midnight during a film and kept waking up on and off, we then went to bed only for me to be wide awake. Grrr.0 -
Happy Sunday morning.
Congrats on the new arrivals. Chloe is fab! Look at all that hair! What a cutie
Hope things get moving soon for you KitKat.. COME ON BABY!
I've woken up with yet another headache, which seems to have been my main symptom so far.
Got my 20 wek scan tomorrow, and just cant stop worrying. I don't know why, but I'm just scared something has gone wrong. Just don't feel preg. My bump seems to have shrunk and no flutters at all
We went pram shopping at John Lewis yesterday, and I think it's between the Bugaboo Chameleon and the icandy Peach..both eye wateringly expensive, but the two we liked best. Anyone got either of those who can give me their honest opinion?
Hope everyone has a good day, and all menfolk are behaving themselves!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Morning all x
Congratulations Elaine on baby Hugo.
Congratulations Delain. Chloe is gorgeous and all that hair!!!
All the best for today KitKat.
MV - Aww you'll be fine tomorrow, stop worrying. Are you going to find out the sex? I had the ICandy Apple with DD, loved it, was just rather large when folded down, okay if you have a large boot.
The Peach seems to have good reviews http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews241253.html

Thanks for the reviews Hitchens
..I will have a read.
I dont know why I'm so paranoid..I just cant imagine how awful it would be to go along tomorrow and be told there was no heartbeat.
Sigh..maybe it's just my hormones..
I definitely want to know the sex. I'm really excited about that part. Just need to see a h/beat and a moving baby to stop me worrying!
We looked at the icandy apple too, but it did look quite big. Not sure it would fit into our car boot too easily. They are lovely prams though.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Morning all
Thanks for your kind wishes for my sweep today, I'm hoping it gets things moving but as you said MLSL I won't expect too much. My OH just told me to make sure the MW buys me flowers before she 'dives in there' lol. I'll be thinking that when she's doing it now!
I'm hoping she books/ mentions induction as I really want a date to work towards but I doubt she'll book this today? It's just typical both our families booked their hols around due date so they could see baby before they leave: OHs brother is leaving for Germany today, other bro end of this week, my sis end of this week and my parents also end of this weekjust feel like we will be alone when this baby shows up
MV I'm sure your scan will be fine, don't panic! *hugs* (this is coming from the no1 panicker!)0 -
Morning all!
Congratulations Delain on baby Chloe, she is gorgeous and a very good weight for 38 weeks!! Now lets hope they can sort you out now!!
Congratulations Elaine on baby Hugo, lovely name.
Labour vibes for Kitkat, MLSL, Courgette & Nene!!
MV - I know what you mean about being paranoid about everything, I am convinced that I will come back high risk with my triple test and that they will fine something wrong and I don't have it taken for another week.
Try and keep positive, I'm sure everything is going to be fine and its just pre scan nerves!!
I have too found my pram/pushchair and my mum has very kindly said she would buy it for me, which I'm very grateful for but at this rate I won't have to buy anything which is taking the fun out of it a bit!
I went to a wedding reception last night, it is a work collegue of DH and I didn't really enjoy it as I couldn't join in. To top it off it was miles away and a good 1hr 15mins drive from home and originally we were going to stop over in a hotel but as soon as my hubby found out I was pregnant he said I could drive back! Cheers love, so it turned out a late night and now my back and hips are paying for it and have been up since 7am with aches and pains!
Moan over, off to make bacon sandwiches because the baby NEEDS one!!
Have a good day all and come on babies!!Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -
Moning All.
Hope it goes well today KK.
Baby needed breakfast at 7am, so I relented and got up. Trouble is, DH was bottling his beer last night and the kitchen smells of sterilising fluid and beer, both of which currently make me gag. Had to grab a yoghurt as quickly as possible from the fridge and hope that would suffice. Just found half a pacet of cashews in the living room.
Got to be careful how I sit and lie now. If I slouch or lie on my back I get terrible pain in my left bum and down my leg. If I forget in the morning and just get up and step on my left leg first I end up in a heap on the floorAm still waiting to 'bloom' and stop with the MS but that might be wishful thinking after this week. My friend went to the BB evictions and I promised to look out for her on tv. Haven't yet told her that all I saw was the inside of a yellow bucket for most of the show!
Oh well. Suppose I should go get up and poke DH awake so he can clean the kitchen. If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
Good luck kitkat for today. I'm still here and fat.
i think OH is starting to realise that going overdue isn't great.

Hi MV
I was going to go for the Bugaboo Chameleon, but a friend of mine has it, and says the rain cover it an utter nightmare to get on, you have to take bits off, and a pain in the butt if you get caught in a shower!
I have gone for the Silver Cross linear freeway now........
P.S. Bought all stuff for bubs on Friday on John Lewis Bluewater.......felt very Victoria Beckham, as while she was sorting out the order, she took us through to the restaurant bit (me, DD and my mum and dad) and told the manageress we could have whatever the 4 of us wanted and nursery section would pay, we didn't have to pay a penny :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
