Ohh how exciting Bigbird fingers crossed it is the start for you x

Good Luck & Labour vibes to all the bold ladies.

Sammy sorry to hear you have picked up another cold HUGS

So I am just on the wait until wednesday when I should see the consultant to get an answer on the c section I'd better get an answer this time or some butt will be kicked :o:p

We went to see Ardal O'Hanlon last night Very funny :D

Looks like we are in for a baby boom again :D

Well, you can tell you lot do most of your posting at work! 4 pages to catch up on and at the weekend, 2. In total.

I'm off to see Ardal on Wednesday when DH flies back from Germany.

Hugs to Dusty. Spend quality time relaxing but don't waste time stewing over things as blokes are made from different stuff and won't spend the anxiety that you'll give to yourself.

So sad about Lily. I like her and live she was good...but then again she was double-headling with Dizzee so she sounded like an angel in comparison.

Well, I told work today and I'd worked myself right up in to a wee bit of a state but my boss was absolutely brilliant and kept hugging me. Bless him. Then it hit him I'd be off for a bit but he feels reassured as I said without a shadow of a doubt I'll be back.

    Good times :)

Hi everyone, just a quick post, hope everyone's ok... Has no-one popped yet?! ;) Have tried to catch up on posts but I've given up now! :p

On the topic of unsupportive men, me and my husband had a big row on Saturday, I felt he was being quite ignorant, I'd had an awful night's sleep, my hips, knees, feet and back were all aching and the most attention he paid was to the blo0dy playstation!!! I'm only 16 weeks but we found out really early and he's not once run me a bath, rubbed my feet, made me a brew - nothing! Now don't get me wrong, he's a cracking hubby usually, I just think he hasn't realised how tired/sick/rubbish I've been feeling - despite aaaallll my moaning :o So we ended up having a huge row, he huffed at me, I yelled at him, we didn't speak til Sunday afternoon and what's more... I didn't make his butties for work Saturday night - I've never not made his butties before, even if we'd fallen out, but I was so mad at him this time!! Anyway, he took Moo (DD) trick or treating last night, and sorted all the clean washing out AND took it upstairs!! His washing normally sits on the chair in a basket for at least a week, with me reminding him about it daily, until I give in and take it upstairs myself - so he made up for it - and then rubbed one of my feet and legs - Moo did the other one so I was spoiled!

Phew, that was a bit of an epic post, sorry! I've got my quad test tomorrow - bit nervy about that, then off to see the consultant on Friday as I had a section with Moo - and I'm slightly *ahem* overweight so classed as a 'high risk'! On a good note though, Moo's parents evening tonight and she got a glowing report - cue proud Mummy nearly crying :o But well done Moo!! :T

Hugs to anyone who needs them... Still thinking of you paws, hope you're getting the support you need and are managing ok... Big love xxxx

GFH Has my cynical thoughts about midwives. DD1 i was told there was no way i was in labour but just to make me happy they would check to see if *ANY* dilation oo what ya know i'm 5-6cms then told OH to go get food as it was a sunday and everything shutting and i wouldn''t deliver for ages and CX looked mild on trace and i was coping fine the oh look theres a head. DD2 induced apperently i wasn't in labour yet i knew i was sad i wanted to push told not to be silly i wasn't even in labour the computer said so oh look whats the head doing down there then.

I was really distracted last time with DD wanting to get off her dad's knee and mess with the equipment I'm going to have to buy her a little toy to take in my bag to keep her occupied.
Pawpurrs where are you? pop on to let us know how your doing, do you have a date yet for the test? I keep checking for you (hugs)

Gosh, yeah, starting to get a bit excited! Do we need to bother with drinking lots before hand?? I am guessing not but thought I'd ask...
I have already told OH to keep an eye out for "appendages" as they won't tell us at the scan what flavour but hoping baby might oblige and make it obvious:rotfl:. As to names, we have a tentative idea for both but still to agree. If it is a boy his middle name is going to be my maiden name as I want my family name to be continued somehow and OH is cool with that. Parents are both gone now :( and I have a batchelor Bro who's showing no sign on procreating any time soon!!! lol

In laws arriving Friday afternoon so no doubt the will be cooing over pics and the like from the scan. They are bringing stuff down from SIL who has two boys (2years and 4months) so lots to sort through and see what I want to keep. Should get me started anyway before I drag OH to the glasgow pram centre to decide on the "big" stuff.

Fairyshazza - good luck with your scan tomorrow, sorry to hear your nice boss gave you the cold. Some things you wish they wouldn't share!!

Nic - congrats on the house up in Huntly. Nice part of the country and I would think it is small enough that you will soon make friends.

    BigBird - oh, a show!!! Here's hoping :D

Sammy - sorry to hear you have another cold, having had one a few weeks ago, I can only offer my sympathy, never realised how great cold remedys were until I couldn't take them!!!

Gizmodo - Bargain on the swimpants!!! How early can you take nippers swimming then?? I'm guessing a few months anyway....??

Hungry - not good about the consultation, the uncertainty is never fun, went through it about this time last year, had to reapply for our own jobs etc. I did sit down and do the finances thing with how much I would get if they paid me off and what would I do... Never fun. Scary if I mind right. Good luck...

Lady and Plymouth - I can only imagine what it must be like to have everyone asking if you'd had baby yet. Wish I'd seen the bit about putting your date back too, great advice!!
I guess a few of us have the fun of it all to come!!!

Fuzz - hope your MIA cos your little bundle is demanding mummy cuddles!!! :j

Good luck and labour vibes to all the boldies up there!!! Sorry if I've missed anyone, not intentional, put it down to my rubbish baby brain!!!

Hugs to Dusty, Paws and twoflower. Thinking of you all with your struggles. Stay and talk to us. I am here all night!!!!!

Off to do some work, gosh, did I mention I love nightshift. NOT!!!

If you are really lucky like we were our scan photo we had a full frontal - even if the sonographer hadn't told us, it was very clear!!

Also, we are having a boy, and his middle name will be my maiden name - Matthew.

    Hi Kat,

Poor you, bet you will have a couple of bruises in the morning. How about giving the assessment unit a ring to see what they say? Don't know what yours are like, but ours have reassured me a couple of times with both pregnancies for different reasons and I have avoided a trip in.

    Hugs x
