Just seen you guys talk about Lily Allen :( I didn't hear about this and will look at the news in a bit.

    Fairyshaz - good luck tomorrow

I got myself a bargain today :money:a pack of huggies swimmers for 50p from Wilkos on the clearance shelf. They are £5.90 in Tesco, so quite pleased with that.

Hey chicky I have been getting stretching pains (didn't help when I overstreched last week, think I pulled something!) but this definately feels like ovulation pains. Just one of these things I suppose :D

That carp that your still feeling sick, luckily it has mostly stopped being/feeling sick, just twice on Saturday (lunch didn't sit right with me the whole day so it was a huge relief) and before that it was last Sunday, but i was sick right through with dd so totally sympathise with you :(
Do you think your having a girl?

fabby, bet you are sooo pleased to have a plain sailing one :D thankfully (touch wood) i am only actually sick if i brush my teeth.
had it all way through with ds tho as well so was kinda expecting it.

i am praying for a girl this time, we are all convinced at work it is cause i have this allergy which i didn't get with ds so figure its my body fighting a girl. :o
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Hi Ladies, sorry we have no news yet of movement in the bold ladies!

I was woken last night with very very strong period style pains and then very bad lower back pain. Luckily it all eased and i managed to get back to sleep, but have period type pains all day now and baby has def moved down. Everyone including midwife thinks this week, i will try and keep you posted. I really hope we have some news on here for those who are in bold, then i wont feel quite so bad if things move along at this end.

Hugs Dusty i hope you can resolve things.

Emmys, LL and all other bolds i really hope it all starts moving :)

I believe Lily Allen lost her first baby early on (first trimester). It is quite unusual to lose a baby at six months, probably not worth worrying yourselves about ladies. Although I have to say I'm still very jittery about a premature birth - sometimes the movements are so strong it feels like its digging an escape route!

On a good note, I got confirmation of my HIP payment and also MA entitlement today.

Thanks so much for saying that, I think every one of us wants to hear those words to reassure. It is so awful to hear news like this. Love to everyone x x

Right where's Fuzz?!?! If she is still preggers and not on this thread I demand an explanation :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: here's hoping she's getting some mummy cuddles. :D

Terrible news about Lily Allen. :( 6 months is so late for such an awful thing to happen (not ever a good time, but I think there is a certain assumption that past about12-14 weeks you feel "safer" somehow)

I read somewhere that her first m/c was actually well into her 2nd trimester.

    All very awful and tragic.

I also demand to know where Fuzz is..??? She's normally here all the blooming time, then when you want her, she's nowhere to be seen! ;) :rotfl:

Morning everyone......come on you bold ladies, labour vibes coming your way.
I spent the weekend building huge wardrobes with my oh for the children (whilst they were away) absolutely exhausted us both. Been suffering with back pain so wanted to ask advice.
Its on the left side of my back and shoots past my bum and down my leg, i vaguely remember having this with my last pregnancy and think it may be sciatica, does this sound right to anyone? Is there any way to ease it. I was in agony last night and struggled to get up out of bed or find a comfy position. It has eased again this morning, but i suspect it may be back later.

I get that too jojo. I find if I lie on my back at night, or sit in the wrong position then I struggle to stand or walk. I find that if I can keep my posture good (tstanding and sitting) and avoid lying on my back then it helps keep it at bay. I've also tried a lower back/bum/upper leg massage from DH which was nice. Not sure how much it helped though ;)

    Hope it eases for you.

Well, DH and I have to have long talks tonight. My office has just announced a 30 day consultation period for making 40 people redundant. Annoyingly the redundancies will be issued just a couple of weeks before I go on leave. They are willing to consider voluntary redundancies (with a financial incentive). I have no idea how it will affect my maternity pay should I either get made redundant, or take voluntary. Obviously I'd lose company pay, but that's only 6 weeks worth at 90% And of course, I wouldn't have a job to go back to afterwards. I guess it all depends on how at risk I think I am.

Oh well. Have to see what happens in the next couple of weeks.....

Well that news about Lily Allen has just tipped me over the edge. Had to run to the loos in a blubbering mess. :(

I forgot to say, got my quad results on saturday morning 1:12,000 so low risk, very happy with that but thought about pawpurrs, hope she is ok.

I have decided to stay at my mums for the week maybe even a bit longer, this is unless some dramatic gesture is made soon but I doubt it. Not that it makes much difference to him as he works nights so prob wont even realise I've gone. I will go in tonight and leave him a note.
Need to use this time to think about what we both want and are we together just through convienience and the baby or do we actually want to be together. I think a few days apart for thinking space then a serious heart to heart is what is needed.

I will continue to lurk for baby news but I think I will refrain from posting for a while as my head is all over the place and I don't want to be all doom and gloom.

Labour vibes to all those that need it....xx
