Feeling a bit put out today as all of ours friends were out over the weekend for halloween and we never got an invite :( I was always a bit of a party animal until I had DD then we used to go out every now and then but it seems that now I'm pregnant again everyone has forgotten about us. (boo hoo yes I am feeling sorry for myself :o).

i know exactky where you're coming from!! i went out before ds1 - not a big drinker but you know clubbing once a month. bang preggers and the invites stop. by time DS was 1 all my friends in my city were completly blanking me. 3 months later (christmas) i deleted all their numbers out my fone when none responded to my invite for a christmas girly night!!

<<hugs>> dusty <<hugs>> i know that feeling all too well, my DH swore he'd give up 2 years ago when DS was born. he then went through a carp time with his family (parents divorce/ dad ran off with another woman) so he started again. he reallllyyy wanted bubs2 (more then me to be fair) so i told him when he gave up i'd come off the pill. he did, 2 months later i got pg (miscarried@6 weeks) which started him smoking again. he then gave up about a month later and i got pg in july with this bubba. needless to say he is smoking again - i could SCREAM!!!!!! but it won't do any good.
sooooo many times when i was pg with DS1 i wished and prayed i could click my heals and be at my mums but i don't drive and she lives 200 miles away!!!

come on EDDs times up, let us climb a bit higher. :D
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

    Ah, Dusty, Huge (((hugs))).

I have 32x12 hour nightshifts and 4x8 hour dayshifts to do and I am on maternity leave!!! Counting, me, nooooo.;)

Went home via supermarket this morning and bumped into someone from the office who I haven't seen for a while, who had the cheek to mention that he thought I'd put a bit of weight on!!! (I lost 6 stone a few years ago).
I took great pleasure in telling him that it wasn't extra weight but a child at which point he pretty much ran away. Grrrr

"stamps foot" I wanna look pregnant and not fat!!!!!!!

I am not sure how much I have put on weight wise. Too scared to jump on the scales if I'm honest but I ate my way through the first 12 weeks or so and diet has been rubbish ever since so don't think it will be too good!!!!

Can I just ask, does anyone in the 3rd trimester still get horrific and sudden bouts of tiredness?

I've been completely whumped this evening, I can hardly move! I wonder if when babies have sudden growth spurts they knock the poor mum for six??

Yep, I've had this one or twice. Completely exhausted for no obvious reason and I wondered if it was a growth spurt too.

Still nothing here. Getting a bit sick of the texts from well meaning friends now. Yes, I know that curry, hot baths, sex, pineapple etc are supposed to help, but they aren't helping me. OK, so I've not actually tried pineapple yet, but I'm sure it'll be as useless as the rest of the eviction methods.

    Morning everyone x

    Hugs dusty xxx

MV I have had loads of tiredness in the 3rd trimester. At first I thought it was because of working the evenings but even since maternity its not really improved. Now I'm just too uncomfy to sleep well at night so not surprised I'm tired. I know better but still can't help thinking can't wait till baby is out so I can get a good sleep haha as if. Am looking forward to sleeping on my front again though, even if it'll be a week or so before I can.

Just over 1 week to go, hopefully with the kids back at school it'll go really quickly, I'm struggling to do anything now. At this stage with DS I was taking DD on trips round the zoo, days out, still working p/t and not really feeling it. This time I'm deffinately feeling it.

I've a cold at the moment and am constantly short of breath, I assume its partly because of the cold, I know it is the extra fluid too not helping but its awful to feel worn out just sitting down. I really struggle to stand so will have to make sure I don't get to the school too early or if i'm early have to do some odd strolling about till they go in.

    Morning ladies.

Well I spent the weekend looking at houses, and we found the perfect one. It's in Huntly which is a goreous town.
It's all moving quickly, but OH is paying the deposit today after I phone the school to make sure they can take the kids.

If that's all ok then we move on 1st Dec

I keep getting waves of thinking it's all a good idea, then bursting into tears because I'd rather not have to move at all.

It's 180 miles from my family. It could be worse, but I see my mum at least once or twice a week, plus she babysits even for the odd hour to let me get things done.

I now have the stress of packing up a 3 bed house pretty much on my own. Im going to have to be ruthless and freecyle and sell a lot.

My other issue is that I wanted to have the baby here as there is a brilliant hospital. I don't fancy the Aberdeen one.
The good news is that there's a 35 bed community hospital across and along a bit from the new house. They only have a 4 bed midwife led maternity unit. So if it's busy I don't know what I'll do, but if not it's very handy. I'm now considering a homebirth.

Sorry for the early morning long post, once I start I can't stop.

Goodluck all those at due dates and over, looking forward to the influx of babies in the next week or so.
