I don't know if this is out of date, but they used to say to gain 1 stone if you were overweight, 2 stone if you were of average weight and 3 stone if you were underweight.
Without knowing how tall you are, I would imagine that's a pretty modest gain.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

I am 5'2 and have gained about 10 lbs (2lbs in the last week) so far but 24-30 weeks is meant to be a rapid increase so watch this space, i think thats about normal though.
Unless your evening ritual consists of a whole pack of biscuits I wouldn't worry too much, we are meant to lay down fat stores ready for breastfeeding. Natures so lovely isn't she?0 -

:eek::eek::eek:I'm 5ft 6 and still weigh 11stone 7 weeks after having him
. I was average weight beforehand. I weighed myself just before I had him and was 13 stone which was about 2.5stone gain. Most of the weight now is my mahoosive boobs I think!
How many weeks are you now MV?Updating soon...0 -

If you have a normal BMI then the total weight gain by the end of pregnancy should be around 2 stone.
I've also read that you should ideally gain a steady 1lb a week in your third trimester, so I don't think I'll be much under normal as I still have another 10+ weeks to go yet.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
I've gained 2.5 stone easily I'd say as I was 11st 7lb before and last week I weighed 14st (I'm 5ft 7"), much to the amusement of my partners kids when I stepped on the Wii fit for the first time since being pregnant and it told me I was obese :rotfl:
Strangely most people keep saying I don't look like I've put on much weight (not sure if they're just being kind, and know how hormonal us pregnant ladies get
). For once I'm not too bothered either as I know most people lose a good stone in the first week anyway. I'm more keen to get back into my exercise than diet. Started sweating really badly this last week and having major hot flushes - very horrid!!
Good to see you Courgette and KitKat - hows it going being a mummy?!0
