Yeah thought about that after I logged off last night, should have mentioned it, I went onto Noriday (progesterone only pill) as I was breastfeeding and had no problems."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Welcome!
Firstly am I the only one who hasn't got huge boobs?I haven't gone up a cup, just needed bigger inches. so 36C to 38C. I don't think this is a big change for someone who is 6 months preggers.
I've gone from 34D to 36D and tender nips! They feel like gazunkers even tho to look at they look the same.0 -
Hi all!
Giz - I also don't have the massive boobs promised - thought they'd be much bigger by now! (24+1) They also don't hurt/ache at all. I think the nipples are a bit bigger and the veins more visible (nice!). I think they are overall slightly bigger - I bought a couple of cheapo bras that were the next size up for inches (not cup). Even the old bras still fit ok.
Also bump does not perform on demand. Sometimes OH can really feel it too, but more often than not - if someone is dancing a jig on my bladder and I grab OH's hand and put it on the bump, everything goes quiet!0 -
I've phoned in sick today.
A couple of things at work have really upset me the last couple of days, culminating in me bursting into tears in front of my whole team yesterday..so embarassing. I'm not a crying at work kind of girl, but just a few things recently I've taken really personally.
Woke up this morning and thought Sod It. They don't give a toss so I wont either.
Also had some horrible dreams last night where the baby had died and my bump went a horrible, distorted shape. Very upsetting and as a result am exhausted today so am going to just look after me and bump today and catch up on some zzzzz's and take it easy.
Sorry for the early-morning misery post. I shall pop Jeremy Kyle on in a bit to cheer myself up!
Oh..and Happy Friday everyone :beer:Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Sounds like a good call MV. Vivid pregnancy dreams can be really horrible and tiring, can't they - I get them too. Sometimes have to wake OH in the middle of the night for a hug before I can go back to sleep, and they're always silly.
DS is watching Ceebeebies as a mummy's-not-feeling-great treat this morning, and munching a big bowl of apple, kiwi and banana, while I'm still snuggled up in my dressing gown. He's being very cute and keeps coming and giving me kisses. Today's jobs; I need to sort out what I'm going to do as his birthday cake, and work out how many of the family are planning on descending for jelly and ice cream - lots I think. I also need to find out whether the first name and mobile number that the house seller has given me is from a reputable damp-proofing company, or just another dodgy mate of his. Not that I suspect he's dodging and lying at all.... I really hate it when people assume I'm stupid because I'm a SAHM.
Hugs and a big mug of tea to all in need this morning.0 -
*Lugs bump in front on pc*
Hello, still here.
Had one of those days yesterday with 3 lots of visitors. Felt like the Queen.:p Just reading back and thanks to Coops and Emsy for making the job that much easier:A I love a good epic post BUT 2!!!! We are spoilt.
Pawpurrs <hugs>>What can I possibly say? I am so sorry for your results but hope that the next tests will give you some hope. These tests *can* be wrong and it is not a foregone conclusion. Will be thinking of you.
Tanmu Hurray on breaking the baby drought. :TLoving a 3-hour water birth. That is my ideal birth scenario. Best wishes for future.
Fantafan/Cutterby Hello peeps. Welcome to the mix:)
Emsy Jeeeesus - your day in hosp was awful. <hugs> I don't like the thought of a sweep now - I might hole up and have it here - OH learnt how to cut the cord from a Ray Mears survival book:rotfl:
MV I want to be back on TTC soon enough too- THERE. I said it.(But QQuaver, I know you lurk here - you must not be on there:cool: x)
I can't remember any more.
Special poo?Not so special if it is practically every day for 2 weeks. Think I may have a bug?
Note: I haven't put any more frozen peas near child...although I do remember it is a technique used by some (even on here) and not my own sinister form of child abuse. It doesn't harm babyaccording toMW.
Labour vibes to all past 37 weeks and gaining-a-nice-bump and no-complications vibes to everyone else.;)

MV NOOOOOOO, things can't be THAT bad. Don't be silly, step away from the remote control.:p
Seriously, though, if you need a good ol rant and snot-cry, we'll be here for you. Rest up, petal.0 -
Thanks Chakani. I think the horrible dreams I had last night were as a result of th stress I've been under at work recently.
My boss actually had a go at me on Weds for asking if I could work from home in the afternoon after a meeting in London (where I live) to save me having to haul my ar5e into Windsor (where I work- 2 trains and an hour and a half's commute) for no other reason than he wanted me in the office.
When I said the reason I was asking to go home afterwards was because I was in some pain (sciatica), I was told 'if you're ill, then go home'.
I tried to explain that I am trying/wanting to keep up and carry on working/don't want to miss meetings etc by calling in sick. It's called 'being flexible', something my HR Director so emphatically told me the company is with pregnant women (HA!), but you know what..if they'd rather I just phoned in sick and turned my blackberry/laptop off and don't bother keeping up with my workload, then so be it!
I'm also apparently being screwed for a bonus I should be due next year as I am only working 2/3 of the quarter. I asked if I could be pro-rata'd so I get paid for the time I'm there and working (Nov and Dec), but no.
So if they expect me to put myself out and make myself ill trying to hit targets that everyone else in the team will be compensated for, but I won't..well the words I'd like to write here would no doubt be censored...I'll leave it to your imagination!
Jeremy Kyle, tea and sleeping it is! Their choice!
Ok ranty-bird rant over!
Legs..I'm so excited for you and Fuzz and the other 'due' ladies. I can't ait to see your babies!!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

I know Legs, but a good old bit of Jeremy Vile really helps you to see that there are people a lot worse off than you (and a LOT uglier!), which always cheers me up when I'm feeling blue.:D:rotfl:Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:True. Same reason I watch Eastenders.
EURGH - business and pregnancy - about as compatible as Dubeke and Widdecombe. You're only weeks away from Maternity Leave, aren''t you? So f*ck them - sciatica is horrible and you must put yourself and child first.
Right, I'm off to buy ingredients for tea and do some baking. Woo! Domestic Legs! I'll lurk for any baby news later as I could quite easily clutter up the thread with inane ramblings if I loitered for long.
(see?:o)
Come on, Girlies. Get labouring.:D
