baby girl born 27th oct @ 22:22, weighing 6lb 6.5oz. lovely waterbirth, and home within 3 hours :j
Mother and baby doing really wellI decided to test my SPD today by going into town as I wanted to spend my Debenhams voucher - ended up hobbling home in agony, but did get two bargain Miriam Stoppard maternity bras. Reduced to half price and then another 50% taken off at the till, plus the £5 voucher it worked out at £2.40 per bra - my sandwich on the way home cost more! Thought I'd let you ladies know in case you want to check them out. They are non-wired so don't give great shape (esp for us larger ladies) but v.comfortable so great for just slopping round the house.Back from the hospital, its not good, the chaance is actually higher than 1 in 2 and with the blood results, it could be edwards, patau or another syndrome, some of which are incompatiable with life. I have opted for a cvs as I need to know, and that can be done next week, where as an amino I would have to wait for another four weeks, which I couldnt cope with. With the blood results being so bad there is a high chance of heart defects. so its looking verrrry bad.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Good evening ladies, I've finally plucked up the courage to post - I lurked my way through the less than 12 weeks pregnant thread, and I've been lurking in here for 3 weeks
So I kinda feel like I already know some of you
Giz sorry I did mean to answer this but had so many posts to read forgotI went back on the pill 6 weeks after DD was born, the doc gave me a prescription after going through different forms of contraception.
Right, I think I've read every now. I have some more questions, or rather not questions but a need to feel like I'm not alone in a few things...
Firstly am I the only one who hasn't got huge boobs?I haven't gone up a cup, just needed bigger inches. so 36C to 38C. I don't think this is a big change for someone who is 6 months preggers.
Second, people are saying they talk to their bumps and the baby responds with kicking! Mine doesn't! I can't seem to do anything to provoke a response. He/she just moves when he/she wants to.
However I think I might have felt hiccups now.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Welcome!
Thanks Teenie.

My boobs are usually 40B, when preg I an a 42B no massive hooters for me even though I could really do with some just to cheer me up a bit lol.
Also my bump has a mind of his own and kicks the carp out of me at any given point. No specific stimuli gets him going he just decides now is a good time and goes for a good old wriggle.
This was the same for DD as well. Giz there is common rule for all pregnancies which is..... There are no common rules to pregnancies even in the same women second, third, fourth times etc.

Hello - I'm still lurking even though I gave birth 5 weeks ago
.
Hello there young lady, nice to see you back here!!!!Glad I'm on my first!!! That afterpains thing sounds a little uncomfortable!
oxclaireox - splendid about Montrose, but ARI wouldn't let you have a look? That's a bit worrying! As I said, I think Montrose first then Ninewells in Dundee for second choice.
Gizmodo - I am not looking forward to trying to decide on a pram and all the bits to go with it. There is sooo much choice and it's a bit scary!!!
tickle and hungrymummy - hope you both feel better soon
Dusty - know what you mean about booking things for next year, now there is someone else going to be around that needs to be taken care off before I can swan off on my jollys!!! :T
Bigbird - hope you get something for that cold sore, very dangerous for little babies!!!! Yes, I have googled, step away from the google!!!
Emsy - oh hunni, sorry to hear the hospital malarky was a waste of time and not very pleasant either!!! Huge hugs....
Fuzz - love the pity post, it's just fab being pregnant isn't it (as she swigs out of the gaviscon bottle permanently beside her at the computer)
Pawpurrs - not much I can say other than there is a very huge hug here for you.....
Digital - great to hear the heartbeat I would imagine. At my 16 week appointment Midwife wouldn't even try as she didn't want to upset me if she couldn't find it. Yeah, cos not hearing it didn't upset me!!! Doh.
MV - I do hope this won't be our last and I am going to be 39 by the time no1 arrives next year, so see you over there in the TTC forum next year, perhaps the year after!!!!!
tigtag - oh, fingers crossed it isn't too long now!!! And stop lurking!!! lol
jojo - what a bargain at IKEA!! Jealous much!! But not quite ready to rake about for an old cot. Just yet!!!
Tanmu - congratulations on your little princess!!! :T
Cutterby - welcome and keep posting, let us get to know you too!!!
Phew, that's about it I think. SammyGirl, see what you started with these huge posts, we're all at it!!!
Now I can feel bubs, it's kicking me to death!!! OH laughed and just commented that he hopes it's not like him as a youngster as he couldn't sit still (still can't). Great, now he tells me!!!:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0 -
Oh emsy, great minds think alike, and scarily our posts are different!!!! Wow, who would have thought it!!! lol:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0

Thanks, it's good to know there is hope.
So if it's possible to come on while breastfeeding then...back to my original question, can I go on the pill straight away?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Gizmodo/Ticklepenny - I too have only increased my band size - twice in fact. But if it makes you feel better if you have kept the same cup size you have grown a little bit, because each band size up is proportionally bigger by a cup size anyway. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0
