    Hi all

I'm just having a quick look around the entitledto.com website - you know where it says "how many hours do you work?" - if I'll be getting maternity leave pay from my employer, do I still put zero? I assume I do but it's very confusing!
no put the hours you would be doing if not on mat leave

    Afternoon everyone.
Hugs for you paws, thinking of you.
Emsy, hang in there. Baby will come when ready :-)
Everyone else thats due, loads of labour vibes coming your way :-)

My crib arrived on monday from boots, got £36 worth of points back, so feeling very mse about it.
Been to Ikea today though, and spent a fortune on the childrens new wardrobes...had to be done though. Whilst i was there i toook back my 13 year old cot that was used for dd1 and they swapped it for a new one (had to buy a new mattress, but needed one anyway)
And yesterday i won a bottle of perfume from debenhams facebook page (lacoste..i think).
Dreading this weekend and the stress of getting the wardrobes up...actually dreading them being delivered tomorrow to, wonder if i can offer the delivery drivers a cuppa if they'd take the flat packs upstairs

    choccie biscuits too?? :D

I'm sure if you stand in the doorway and look very pregnant, then ask them nicely they'll do it for you.

Another quick one to let you know the £5 voucher worked for me at debenhams.

I had a look at the baby stuff and I'm going to try and use another one next week on a pair of vests that were £6 with cute bunnies on (unisex).

ps. How come you know so soon? I got told by MW that test is at week 15-16 and you're same as me at 12. Surely it can't be that accurate yet? Hopefully not. x
The nuchal scan is done at the 12 week scan and bloods are also taken (that's how it worked at my hospital anyway).

    @Paws - ((big hugs))

jojo1978 (good year by the way), you took your cot back to ikea and they gave you a new one? Was it faulty or are they doing some sort of exchange?

I would offer a cup of tea, bring it out with biccies and ask nicely if they could take it upstairs - hopefully they will!

It was one of their old size ones, they replace them for a new one (standard size) as long as you buy a new mattress, so £25 and i got a new equivalent cot worth £70

Ooh bargain :) now I just need to find me an old ikea cot xx
  • I feel bad. I'm not contacting one of my friends very much at the moment, and not replying to her texts, messages etc, because I know she's using me for emotional support right now, and I really can't deal with it. :( I can't even explain to her why very easily as it would cause a lot of upset right now that we would never get past at a later date.

Sorry, I seem to be whinging a lot recently. I will try and cheer up, after all, I didn't even know if I'd ever be able to have kids, and here I am, all sicky and fat :D I know I have so much to be thankful for.
