Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

I would've thought so if you decide to carry on with the pregnancy but at the very least I would've thought you'd be offered some sort of counselling to help you come to a decision

pawpurrs what a scary result, I always like to look at it the other way too so 1 in 2 chance its fine. If you need to know for sure they can do cvs or amnio. I had an amnio with DD (result was 1 in 75 so not as high but still worried me at the time) the reasurrance once we knew everything was fine was great. The actual procedure wasn't too bad but I'm not needle phobic, I did have a little pain in my tummy the rest of that day. Its such hard decisions to make so take as much time as you need, we decided we would have the amnio then take it from there. Good luck with it I hope it turns out fine for you too x

Emsy sorry you had a rubbish day yesterday, some days nothing goes right, hope things are looking up soon xx

tinks average is good, she must be a perfect little girl bless x

Sorry to hear that Paws, hope all is OK, sending you lots of hugs xx

Not had a chance to read back few pages yet as in a rush, but will catch up later. Hope everyone and their beans are well and good :)

I've just got back from my 2nd antenatal visit and MW said we could try to hear heartbeat even though I am only 13+2 as I am quite slim. There was a trainee MW in there too and she said "it may take a while to find it" but no, straight away it was there, beating away :) Sounded just like a train :D

So, very pleased and reassured about that. She says I can go back again before my 20 week scan to have another listen if I need the reassurance (she knows I am a worrier! :o).

She's put my mind at rest about some food paranoias I had, so will be trying to relax more now and, still be aware, but not go silly obsessive over what I am eating. AND WILL STAY OFF GOOGLE.
