Hugs Ladybumps
Haven't been about today, tried to get in earlier to wish Emsy good luck but unfortunately work went daft and I had to close the internet :~(
Labour vibes to all who require them
Dusty I was totally detached from the fact I was preggers because I had been sick and sore but since I had the big scan last week have been on a highand I can say my energy is returning although after I bounced off the internet last night and did about 20 minutes of housework I ended up in bed at 7.30pm which is soooo not like me lol
PC I think my alien is a boy don't know why just have this little feeling, will probably prove me wrong and pop out team pink and I'm not really all that bothered as it's my first and will probably be my only
Edited to include a BIG HUG FOR TINKThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

Thank You xIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Evening ladies and bumps.
I've got thet detached feeling about my pregnancy too, I suppose I might feel better about it when I have a more substantial bump and "look" pregnant.
One of the ladies in work who has had a baby brought her in today to show us. I had a hold of her and suddenly had a panic that I'm going to have my own small person to be resposible for, and how am I ever going to cope? Then the baby was sick. only a little and I started heaving too (I have a very weak stomach!) I'm now feeling very unsettled about it all, how will I cope if I cant manage to deal with a little bit of sick?Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

Its amazing what you start being able to deal with when its your own
And dont forget, youre pregnant and so far more sensitive to puke/poo etc, especially other peoples lol.
You'll be fine dont worry xxSealed Pot Challenge Member 151
Targets for 2014......
CLEAR THE OVERDRAFT - £700
SAVE DEPOSIT FOR HOUSE £10,000 SO FAR
LEARN TO SEW - Have made two little stuffed rabbits so far, I love them!0 -
Ha Ha, well, mine is at 10:30 which is grand as I finish a 12 hour nightshift at 07:30 so by the time I have had my scan I will be very happy to dash home and jump into bed for the day and that's then me on leave for over 3 weeks which is brill in itself!!!!
I want to find out the flavour and we are still toying with the idea of going for a 4D scan too.
MOTM, yeah, 9 out of 9 would be soo impressive!! Do you have a preference??
That's handy timing for you. Not sure if it's better not long after you get up (so as not having to worry for too long) or later in the day so you can rest on the news.
I'd prefer 1 boy at least, but the cliched 'healthy and happy' will do me. If we do have 2 girls, you know i'll never be able to post on MSE again, don't you
Just out of interest, which gender do people think, in general, are cheaper to bring up  I'm wondering if i've got the bad end of the financial stick so far, or if i've been lucky. Girls are expensive enough, I just wondered if boys were cheaper, although I don't know if there is any noticeable difference. I was a boy once (!) but obviously I don't rememeber prices back then0 -
Good Evening Ladies
ETA: And Gent!!!
RBG - I have a feeling I'm having a boy too. It's a strange feeling! Only 2 weeks to (hopefully) find out.
Merfe - Maybe give the MW a call and see what she thinks. It can't hurt to still go to the 36 week appt just to make sure everything is tickety boo. I wont forget your date - it's the same as my 20 week scan
Fuzz - Oh, I really thought you were on your way!! Come on baby Fuzz!!! If I had a halloween baby and it was a boy - I would so call him Damian :rotfl: Plus he would have themed birthday parties for the rest of his life!!
Dusty - Do you think you will get a doppler? I know it would be reassuring but what if it was the other way round and you couldn't find something and you get all panicky. When are you next at the MW. Can you listen to the HB again? I've heard mine 3 times now without having to get my own doppler.
Tinks - (((Hugs))) honey. I can't believe the consultant wasn't there. Did they say why? Was there an emergency? It must be so frustrating for you
Ema - Yay for bump rubbing! My favourite position is leaning back in my chair at work, sticking my bump out and rubbing it. Lol.
PC - Mine feels boyish too. Oh well, we'll find out soon enough!
Delain - canned hot dogs........._pale_
Teenie - :rotfl: at friend's baby - but I should think it prob was mortifying. Not quite the same, but in the summer, I was out the front gossiping with the neighbours and was wearing a one shoulder dress without a bra. Cue my dog, randomly jumping up pulling the top of my dress with his bra and my boob completely popped out :rotfl::o:eek:
DM - Im loving the cakesI too did get a bit confused with the pamper cakes, thinking pamper nappies - but now I get it. And the name Babycakes is fab :T
GFH - I can't believe you're getting a choccie lab pup. I'm very jealous! Are you def get a girl or do you think you might want a boy. I've got some great boy namesAlso, choc labs are my Teddy's favourite playmates
Hibbi - Sending loads of labour vibes your way - hope you're not feeling too down
Emsy - I hope the sweep went well today. Update us when you can!
Hngrymummy - I hope you're feeling better and managed to get off work early. I doubt the strong wee smell would have helped the sickness
Digitalphase - It can't hurt to sign up again online. They are quite quick in sending out the vouchers as well. I keep forgetting to pick my bag up - but Ive seen them out on display so should be pretty self explanatory instore. Actually, I think you can get it online as well with the code on the voucher.
Giz - Thanks for the link. :rotfl: at the big knickers - but a freebie is a freebieI think footmuffs are good ideas - maybe shop around rather than going with the same brand as your buggy.
BigBird - Happy due date :j:j:j Just think, if you don't pop tonight, you can be a bold lady from tomorrow. That def gives you priority over the other queue jumpers
Katyj - Well done on joining the gym - but I can see why you wouldn't want an induction!! Do they do aquanatal classes at your pool too?
Ladylegs - Sorry, no expert advice - but poor bubs having mummy put frozen peas on his/her head
Slm - Sorry you're feeling uncomfortable. Hope bubs makes an appearance soon
Lilian - I can't believe you're 16 weeks already!! I remember when you got your BFP - doesn't seem that long ago!
Chakani - ahhh, that's nice about the bond
oxclairexo - I'm a Quinny Buzz 3 fan too. I thought I'd settled on the Jane Slalom until I tried out the Quinny and I love it!! Perfect for walking the dog too!
Loubylou - Sorry you're feeling uncomfortable too. Crikey, is this what us 2nd trimester ladies have to look forward too :D
MV - (((Hugs))) hon. I bet you must be exhausted by the time you get in from work. I feel for you - esp with winter coming up
Sorry, if I've missed anyone out. I've got a dominos pizza waiting in the kitchen that my dog's got his eye on *roll eyes*
I'm 19 weeks today :j:j:j0 -
Ice don't worry honey when it's your own baby they puke, pee and poop on you and seriously it doesn't seem to matter, someone elses is a whole different story.
I think maybe some of us ladies who are around the same number of weeks pregnant are in limbo, or at least that's what I feel. You worry for the first 12 weeks and then have your scan and you are so relieved and start to relax, but up until the next scan or at least until baby starts kicking there is nothing to show or feel that your actually pregnant! Or am I just talking out my backside (as per usual, I'll say if first before anyone else gets in there first)

Hi all, Labour vibes to all that need/want them. 2nd day of mat leave, my cotbed order turned up from Kiddicare, very prompt service.:T
Wanted to use the gift vouchers my work place got me for Boots and order the bouncy chair I've had my eye on, apparently I couldn't use the gift card online so I had to go to the store today to try and use the card. Also wanted (in true MSE style) to make use of the 1200 points offer and intentionally went in the evening as website said instore promos would be from 3pm onwards but Bluewater store says their promo doesn't happen till tomorrow. Arrgh! :wall:Have to go back tomorrow.0
