I'm 39+1 and sooooooooooooooooooo fed up of being pumpkin shaped, and just can't get comfortable no matter what I sit on! Oddly, getting up and doing exercise is the only thing that seems to stop the back ache, so hurrah for the Wii!

Very much enjoying maternity leave though, and due to all the stress at work, gave up at 37w instead of 38!

I *think* I (we) have chosen a name for baby too, except I made the mistake of mentioning it to my mum, and her response was "ohh no, not that". She is SO opinionated on my name choices it's actually quite annoying! Refuse to mention any more potential names to her! Anyone else having name traumas??

Afternoon Lady bumps

Been away visiting some friends overnight hence me not being about....haven't even read back but I will say hiya to all the newcomers and loads of Labour Vibes to those who need them.....

Dad has improved and was allowed home yesterday as there was a bug introduced to his ward so they decided he would be safer at home.....have hidden all the knives from my mother as she is liable to want to use them on him as he is even grumpier when he is not well, lol......

I think being away to see my friends has helped a wee bit with my moods....I had been avoiding this friend as she had miscarried at the beginning of July at 14 weeks and I then found out I was preggers just after......seems that she is steadily getting over her loss and is determined she is going to be an active 'auntie' hehe...her hubby isn't fairing so well as we were sitting at 5am this morning with him crying his little heart out (alcohol was involved for him).

Anyways going to go and do some stuff around the house as I have been away and have 2 lizards to feed and dinner to make.....catch you all very soon and sorry if I can't get online during the days for the next couple but work is going to be hectic when I get back to it I just know it....going to speak to supervisor about 4 day weeks from mid November so will let you all know how that goes...

Thanks everyone for reassuring me. I feel good now, I've ust been waking up with a sore throat and it disapears quite quickly.

Oh, just realised I'm 37 weeks today, so I've reached full term! Bambino can come anytime they want now!:beer:

Just had our sausage casserole, it was lovely but the sausages were a bit peppery for the kids, I hate that with sausages, it didn't say anything on the packet.
They had no problem polishing off the trifle though.

Can't believe i'm 14 weeks already, where is the time going?!

Anyone else suffering from headaches? I don't get them everyday but getting them more often than I ever did before, I have been drinking plenty (threw a lot of it back up today though ) so not sure if that's the reason? It is really painful, think I may have to go and take a paracetamol!

Nic good luck with finding somewhere, it will be so much easier for you being closer to your DH.

RBG glad your dad is getting better, hope he keeps improving.

Just eaten a HUGE roast dinner, am now slumped on the sofa watching Come Dine With Me.

We managed to get all the filling, sanding and undercoating the walls in the spare room/nursery-to-be, so feeling very pleased with ourselves.

Evening All,

Hope we all had a nice weekend? We havent done much in particular but just seem to have been busy...

Anyhoo, am thinking about going to see the doc tomorrow but not sure if Im overreacting or not. TMI ALERT.......My discharge has gone a greeny/yellow colour, like snot and my ladybits are swollen and tender, I know this happens in the later stages but Im only 21 weeks, it seems a bit soon really. Also I keep getting a sore tummy, a bit like AF pains, like an ache all the way across. Oh I dont know, everything is really different this time around that I dont know if this is just whats normal for this time around if that makes sense?

So what I guess Im asking is, do you think the doc will just think Im being whatever that word beginning with H is, oh god PG brain, what is it????
