Am feeling a smidge better today (sorry for my grumps recently). Even got a little bit excited about sproglet in Tesco and bought a cute bear outfit
    http://www.clothingattesco.com/new-In-/Cherokee-Teddy-snowsuit/invt/km020030&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgbaby,baby-new

It's much cuter in real life.

Having AF pains, but milder. On the plus side, I haven't felt sick at all today. Not even a sniff of it. Is this it? Is my MS finally over?? :j

Right, off to do more housework. Musn't watch Miss Marple....must.....resist................(currently failing)

edit: oo adds are on. might try and escape it now

Poor thing, and she's so young.

nic pretty house. Have you got a 4x4 for when the novelty of being snowed in wears off?;)

Am trying to think up ways to make a bit of money when I'm on ML. I'm pretty good with a sewing machine, so I might see if I can make a few bits to sell (aprons, cushion covers etc. Any ideas greatly welcomed), and also get my t-shirt business back up and running properly.

    Night all

Make maternity/nursing pillows like the Genie one for eg they are so expensive

Hungry - I love that, I look at it every time I'm in Tesco!!!

Nic - They've had snow up there already, I have a teacher friend in Aberdeen too. What about Huntly or Oldmeldrum?

I read the stillbirth story too, again, I knew I shouldn't but couldn't help it :( I know a couple of people who have had stillborns including my MiL :(

Depending on how your skills are, I design and make traditional teddy bears - I'm planning on doing this during matty leave - depending on my hands!

As long as you don't sell them as toys but as 'ornaments' then you should be ok (maybe bung some lavender or something in them?). Otherwise there are regulations regarding safety, insurance etc. Bit of a pain really.

I love making soft toys, so might have another look at if I can do anything with that too. I made a huuuge beanbag bear for my niece when she was little.

Lots of things to think about. Thanks everyone :)

Ooooooooo whats on your list??..I'm quite sure we can shorten it considerably :D also McFlurrys are pasteurised(sp?) so ok to eat;) I emailed them when I 1st found out I was pg coz there was no way I was doing summer without my McFlurrys:p:rotfl:

As far as I was aware it wasn't about the pasteurisation but the cleaning of the pumps which carries a listeria risk if not done right

Can I ask everyone how they received their travel systems? Maybe it's preggo hormones, but we went to collect our travel system today from an independent retailer and asked if we could be shown how everything clicks in and out/ folds down, etc, and how the car seat base is fitted into the car. The assistant I spoke to said that she didn't know how to do it, but that the other assistant who was with another customer could show me. I waited for about 10 mins and the other assistant who was with a customer caught my eye and came over to me. I explained that I was collecting a travel system I had already paid for and wanted to be shown how it worked. She was quite abrupt and said she was with a customer and could show me, but I would have to wait as long as it took for her to be available to do this. The other assistant had in the meantime got the 3 boxes together on a movers trolley and told DH that the travel system was there and he could return the trolley when he was done, and went off to serve other customers. I bet if we were choosing the pram and hadn't given over our money yet, we would have gotten better service!

Sorry for the rant, it made me really cross and frustrated nearly to the verge of tears. It is currently in bits all over our living room.
