we are all moving up that list really quickly it feels. Been cleaning out the office this morning and under the stairs behind things - normally i would ignor that bit so am guessing the nesting is here a little. Did too much walking yesterday and have been paying for it since. Hips and lower back are killing me but hey i guess it could be worse.
Baby has also decided to play trampoline with my bladder today and i have spent most of my day up and down the stairs to the bathroom. Only a few more weeks before my body can begin to recover. Have also come to the conclussion that this baby will be born at home unless in middle of night when OH is here. He is likely to be too far away with work to make it back in time. Were also making headway with name i think - although he could change his mind again!Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Giz - what date are you finishing? I've got 57 working days left (56.5 really - plus all the other half days for MW appointments) and finish on 7th January.
My last working day will be 30th December (only got 2 days hol left, so I'm having 29th and 31st off). So my official maternity leave start date is 4th January.
So in answer to Rockins question I'm starting mat leave 4 weeks prior to EDD. Although with Christmas it's almost 5 weeks really. I was going to go back to work for a week after new year, but I really can't stand my job and decided the thought of returning after new year for 1 week was very depressing.
Lilian - Are you taking time off for MW appts? Or do you mean the free time off? My doctors is local to work, so I only end up taking an hour for MW appts.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

How is everyone else doing re stretch marks? I seem to be all clear so far, but guess they can appear at anytime, and I still have 10-12 weeks left to go.
No stretch marks...just belly button threatening to popBut I keep reading of people who get no stretch marks and then get a whole load in the last couple of weeks! I'm loving that my belly is starting to look properly pregnant completely face on now. For a while there you couldn't tell so I'd be angling myself sideways! lol

Well that cheered me up as I finish on 11th January and still have 7 days holiday left to take.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

Am feeling like I don't have much to contribute to this thread at the momentfeeling rather down in the dumps.
Aww why are you feeling down? I find sometimes the discussions are beyond my knowledge. Then other times they are completely relevant. How many weeks are you?Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

I'm keeping quiet about stretchmarks. I'm not in the slightest bit superstitious, but.....If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0
