Just need to vent somewhere. Please don't feel the need to reply. I'm sure hormones are playing at least some part in the way I'm feeling...
A friend of mine has just moved back with her parents because of getting a job near there. It's several hours drive away from here. So far this week I've had 20 e-mails, 5 FB messages and now a telephone call asking me if I'm ok because I haven't responded to any of the messages sent today. ermmmm.....I'm actually quite busy at work. I'm starting to feel really crowded by all of this which is making me not even read the messages now. I do feel a little bad, but at the same time it's stressing me out somewhat.
Oh well, at least I get to go and play...sorry, work, in Kent for 2 days, which should be good fun.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

I woke up on Saturday morning with what felt like a pulled muscle and it got worse and worse as the day went on...went to Dr and maternity, they said recurrence of UTI and put me back on antibiotics but it doesn't feel like a UTI....hurts to cough, sneeze, laugh, pee, try to get off the sofa, the works......let me know if you get any answers coz I am not happy with the answers that maternity and my GP have given me and I don't know who to turn to now :S
Well I'm not going anywhere for answers other than this thread.. It is getting worse though, I may nip to the walk in centre after work. What is a UTI?
this is an ache right under my 'bump'. I can only guess it is the groin area. Deffo feels like something has stretched though.FairyShazza wrote: »Congratulations to the new arrivals
Am feeling like I don't have much to contribute to this thread at the momentfeeling rather down in the dumps.
Awww...shazza just jump in the convo. i have nothing to contribute either but am barging in anywayI'm around the same time as you (15+4)
I'm planning on finishing 3 weeks exactly before bubs is due. Is that tooo late? i've been hearing horror stories of preg women wandering aimlessly around the house on mat leave with nothing to do. As it happens it looks like OH is leaving EVERYTHING to me so I'm sure i'll have plenty to do.
RANT
Oh can I moan.........? He is doing my head in, I have no bump at the mo so he obviously forgets I am pregnant, I mention painting the nursery 'oh well you can do that'. I mention him getting his weights bench out of the spare room so that we can turn it into a nursery 'oh well there's no rush', I ask him what he thinks about prams, cots etc 'not really fussed, you can decide'
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.
Plus, as you know he works nights so our relationship is done over the phone. He woke me up on sunday night snatching the quilt off me and I couldn't get back to sleep so i told him not to do it again when I spoke to him last night and he saw his @ss and hung up on me and didn't even say hello to me this morning when he got home...!!!! I thought I was supposed to be the hormonal one.
I feel like sending him a text to tell him I'm going to the walk in cente about this pain and seeing what he does. Not that he even knows i'm in pain. Is it really bad that I want to worry him so he remembers I'm PG? (I'm a cow aren't I?)0 -
MV and Giz Grrrrrr to those nasty people at work  really makes it horrible when you have to put up with stuff like that. No wonder you both can't wait to start your maternity leave!
GFH I think I'm just having one of those down days today. I'll be ok - will probably end up at bawling at some stupid TV programme tonight, eating some chocolate and then feel a bit better
Giz They are some the kinds of pains I am getting - when turning over in bed or getting up from a chair. Yesterday and today I seem to have constant mini cramps all over my tummy, down the sides and in my lower back - OH said he thought my belly was bigger and a lot harder again today so I'm not too worried as I know bubs is going through a little growth spurt at the moment. They are just a little uncomortable - wish I was at home curled up on the sofa under a duvet with the catOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
wow - sorry for my massive post, and sorry to add to the venting this afternoon - feel free to ignore me0

Am getting loads of cramping which is quite uncomfortable at the moment too, think it's possibly round ligament pains as did some reading up this morning and thats what it sounds like. Think I'm feeling a bit hormonal at the moment too - feel like I'm going to burst into tears at any minute but don't really know whyto be honest that probably isn't helping matters much.
God I sound like a right one :rotfl:
Will be 18 weeks on Saturday Giz
Hugs Fairy. I disappeared from the threads for a little while because I was feeling down and didn't think that anyone would want me moaning to them...in a way I wish I had stayed with it. was very close to going back on the antidepressants I was on before I got preggers but I have managed to stay off them. You should think about talking to the MW or your GP though if you keep feeling this way...as Gratefulforhelp says there is such a thing as ante natal depression. I'm 19+4 and am still getting the days where I feel like I am going to burst into tears for no reason......The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
I must admit, I'm terrible at replying to posts unless it's a direct question to me or it's something I have direct experience of and feel I can help with, but I do read everything everyone says so never feel like your posts aren't being read.
Giz - I don't actually think I will make it to New Year anyway so may end up starting ML early, but I want to have as long at the other end as I can so may have to fabricate a cold so they don't start my leave earlyCould then go in for the last day or two of my official time at work to say goodbyes and finish everything off so it doesn't look planned and I still get time off at Christmas

We're also properly skint. Got a roof repair and boiler problem to pay for
Also at some point we need to replace the loft insulation. Even that's not as cheap as I thought (but I want the boards, rather than the fibreglass stuff).
Gizmodo, do you need to board the whole attic or could you just use the expensive boards for a small area and the cheap stuff for the rest of it? We had ours insulated with the cheap stuff for around £200 through one of the insulation companies a couple of years ago, its only now that we have put a few boards down to start clearing some of the junk before babs gets here, but we have only boarded about a quarter!FairyShazza wrote: »I think it's cos there's been a few times I've posted and don't seem to have been acknowledged, had been wondering if I've upset someone. FS, I know what you mean, but its nothing personal - the thread goes so fast that I can't keep up with / acknowledge everyone and I'm sure everyone's the same! I tend to have the odd thing that I join in with and just try and say hi to everyone
It's dragging between appointments for me at the moment am nearly 15 weeks so also know what you mean with that - can't be long till your next scan now
I had a funny moment earlier - I was chatting to my friend about babies and was just about to say I keep forgetting I'm pregnant (is this just me, I am slightly worried:eek::eek:), then as I was thinking it I put my hand on my little bump and realised I have a good reminder now :j0 -
Hee hee, sorry Dusty I know its not funny but you sound just like me! Im a cow sometimes too, to the point of saying (because he wont give up smoking) 'oh just kill your daughter and your unborn then, obviously dont mean much to you' thats nasty and slightly morbid I know but I just dont think....
and to be honest I would probably be doing the same as you!! Men.....pffSealed Pot Challenge Member 151

UTI is urine/kidney infection (not nice) loldustystar02 wrote: »I'm planning on finishing 3 weeks exactly before bubs is due. hmmm maybe I will think about finishing that wee but later although spending that time with people I can't get on with just does not appeal atm loldustystar02 wrote: »RANT
